And Z knew this? How? that would mean Z had prior knowledge of TM and that changes the whole dynamic of the case. All Z knew was that he was a black kid walking back from the store on the way to his dads with a bag of skittles in his pocket, or at least that's all that he could have known. It is clear that Z also idolized a certain lifestyle, that of a vigilante.
That's all irrelevant. Did GZ fear for his life? That's pretty much the only question that matters.

Im going to throw the Martin supporters a bone and say Z followed Martin and threw a punch. Ill even say Z took down M. Guess what? Still Not Guilty. law is law

I know a lot of people in jail for multiple murders that eat Skittles. I wish people would stop pointing out that he had candy in his backpack to somehow imply that he was a sweet little kid that would do no wrong. We have photos and other personal references that show that TM idolized that gangster life.

Not to mention Zim was on his way to the store to buy SweeTarts and Fresca and as we all know, Skittles and ice tea are WAY more badass.

Lots of terrific "evidence" for the prosecution here.

ps the judge is so biased I bet this picture would have been allowed as prosecution evidence had they asked for animation.

That's an awesome find and when neighborhood watch guidelines become law, it will be relevant.

Do the guidelines say that you can't get physically involved if you're being attacked?

If getting out of your vehicle and observing someone is "getting physically involved" then so is picking up the phone to make a call. Fuck, for that matter, using your eyeballs to accidentally see someone, from your vehicle is technically "getting physically involved"

I think the spirit of that recommendation...err suggestion...err guideline, is for the watch not to try to DETAIN or ASSAULT any suspicious characters. Since there is no evidence that happened, it's less than irrelevant.

Im being sincere. Can a Martin supporter please give the prosecution version of events? I can't make since out of any HLN experts or the prosecutors. How the bleep did Z get all the marks on his head? Was it self inflicted?

Buck holds those same attitudes towards us southerners(that means you too). He is no better than those he chastises.
What I find the most amusing about him talking about rednecks and southerners is if you have seen a picture of him, he looks like a prime example of a trailer park redneck. He always has the dumb found look on his face like he just found a nickle in his pocket.

In my neck of the woods he would be labeled a preppy douche.

That means he would fit right in in Dallas. Dallas is not like the rest of Texas. It's like Hollywood in a way. Concerned about looks, etc. Hell, we can barely make noise at an America's Team home game. Aka the wine and cheese crowd.

Well here is a new wrinkle in this unfortunate case. It looks as if the US DOJ spent taxpayer money in order to take sides in this divisive case.
Obama and Holder are quite the racial uniters.

Wow.

Judicial Watch announced today that it has obtained documents proving that the Department of Justice played a major behind-the-scenes role in organizing protests against George Zimmerman. Zimmerman is on trial for second-degree murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in February 2012.
Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act request with the DOJ on April 24, 2012. According to the documents JW received, a little-known DOJ unit called the Community Relations Service deployed to Sanford, FL, to organize and manage rallies against Zimmerman.

Trayvon was the president's channeled son, after all. If you can't use the power of DOJ to stir up racial animosity, what is the point of being emperor?

Who thinks that Zimmerman should take the witness stand?

I don't think he needs to. Especially since he isn't very bright and the prosecution would just love to try and confuse him.
