Bottom line if we are ever going to achieve universal health care for every American the voters have to change their mindset and vote out those politicians that are against healthcare for all and vote into office those politicians that believe it is our right to have healthcare.

Make no mistake about it all those countries with better healthcare than ours have one thing in common...the Government controls how it is implemented, the #1 country providing healthcare to its people (France) allows 6-12 months of maternity leave and their employer pays 35% of their salary while the Government pays 65% while they are on leave, the Government sends in a nanny/caretaker to help the new mom I think childcare is also free or low cost, medication is $10 no matter the quantity, Germany has a similar program.

It's a fucking outright shame that the richest country in the world won't provide "free" healthcare for its citizenry but instead are left to fend for themselves with for profit healthcare companies.

We the people need to make the Goverment work for us and not the other way around.

But that's socialism you fucking Commie...

Here in Murica we rather private companies make massive profits off our sickness rather than providing your Commie ass with health care.

"I have never advocated against a medicaid type program."
sure you have. You just recently complained about how too many people were being helped for medical care by the govt.

So you put an otherworldly qualifier on it "I think the states should control it.". News flash: when your father needed medicaid, most of the money came from federal tax dollars. Not whatever desolate place that tolerated your childhood.

Your outrage is that the world wasn't what you want it to be.

US Society, through medicaid took care of your father because you, he, his wife or his extended family couldn't. That's OK. It's what this country is all about. Just don't fuck up the same benefit your father received for the next ones who need it. Is that so hard for you to understand?
Where do federal tax dollars come from? Oh yeah, It's the states.... Hmm.... Maybe if the federal government didnt confiscate the money then the state could afford to do it...

Not sure why you think a state government cant do something a federal government can do. It is all government.

If you removed Federal redistribution of tax dollars your dumb redneck state would declare bankruptcy in less than a year.

Hates the Feds, shills for the dude about to take charge of it...

Consistent.

Arizona is the 13th most dependent state on Federal tax dollars.

Thank goodness I have Kaiser Medical coverage.......my wife's insulin is $15 per month, even the new insulin....
It didn't cost us the 1100 a month. My point was more about the older medicine being cheaper and working better and her being switched for no reason, even with the wife not wanting to switch.

It was more of a complaint about why insurance is so high.

If it takes care of the people who gives a shit what you call it you dumb fuck you'd rather get screwed by your government because you're afraid of being labeled a commie so fixing dumb.

You don't need to post a picture of you and your ugly ass brother. I'm nowhere near red and white skin, blanquito.

Newsflash pendejo we already live in a defacto semi socialist country, take care of the people who gives a fuck about a label.
You didn't get the satire then, no?

Maybe if your dad didn't pay a portion of his income into a social health program for the elderly and poor, he or the state could have afforded to do so.

Maybe your dad wouldn't have died on the street. Maybe you or one of your family wouldn't have had to ruin their prospects in life to care for him.

Maybe

That's not much of a promise. What you father received was not exactly medical services on a gold plate but when he needed them, assistance was available through medicaid. This is what taxpayers provided your father so that the same care would be available to themselves later on. And you would break that promise for no good reason.

Sorry to reply twice @DG1959 , but what is misleading about that chart? You said it was misleading but then you gave evidence that did not address the graph at all. In fact it anecdotally supports it.

The rate of increase was much higher under Bush than Obama. Period. So what is misleading?

On top of it, under the ACA, millions of uninsured are now insured. So why are we prioritizing scrapping it before a better plan exists?
The rate of increase under Clinton was much higher. The Bush and Obama years are about the same.

And truthfully, even the rate is lower the real number increase from year to year was higher under Obama.
