If the government punishes a business for doing something (such as employing workers over 30 hours), government is coercing them to do the opposite (employing workers less than 30 hours). Gun manufacturers don't fine you for not killing people. Totally irrelevant.
i've said this before..i came from this industry..businesses have been moving EE's to part-time for as long as i can remember in an effort to cut benefits..this is NOT new..period:wall:
Now this is an interesting argument. Schuylaar is lying because Schuylaar is being deprived by that state of somthing the Fed believes everyone in that state is entitled to. Yet the state has decided for purely political reasons to deprive all of its citizens of that benefit.
yes, and what really is fucked is that i'm LYING by "showing" income i don't have in order to gain health..if i reported "0", i would have been thrown into the medicaid pool that doesn't exist..members here would rather see me without even though i'm a productive member of society and a full-time medical student..some sick fuckers..and you know who you are..shame on you!:finger:

I think it is entirely possible that the fraud is balanced by the state's refusal to participate.
Not purely political. The extended medicaid is only partially funded by the Fed for a few years, then the states must pick up the entire tab for the vastly increased costs. States accepting the extended medicaid provisions will need to double their revenues in order to meet the added costs. Expect property, "sin", income, and other state taxes to go up.
wrong..don't you ever check your statements?..Beginning in 2014 coverage for the newly eligible adults will be fully funded by the federal government for three years. It will phase down to 90% by 2020..http://www.medicaid.gov/affordablecareact/affordable-care-act.html
Business are for profit, even non-profit. Just thought you should know.
yes, bible beaters..that means your GOC (god of choice) should be taxed, too:mrgreen:
Because it hasn't happened yet. Learn to read.

:wall:
I know this sounds cold, but the guy on the steps didn't cost us much.
whoa!..you've rendered me speechless..

I get so tired of those who always, in every situation, hold companies blameless for their own actions when in fact it is not the government that cut employee's hours, it is the company that did so - Government is not forcing anyone to cut anyone else's hours.

so.... you are saying the problem is capitalism or the captain of this boat?
Cause / effect.. Piss into the wind, get piss on your boots.. Obama told you it was just raining. :)

Here is some educational material for your enjoyment:

http://news.investors.com/politics-obamacare/090613-670104-obamacare-spurs-shortest-low-wage-week-ever.htm

Workers in low-wage industries clocked the shortest average workweek on record in July, new Labor Department data show. The 29 million non-managerial workers in private-sector industries which pay up to about $14.50 per hour, on average, put in a 27.4-hour week, a level previously matched only at the depths of the recession in 2009.
http://news.investors.com/politics-obamacare/101713-669013-obamacare-employer-mandate-a-list-of-cuts-to-work-hours-jobs.htm
ObamaCare's impact on jobs is hotly debated by politicians and economists. Critics say the Affordable Care Act, with its employer mandate to provide health insurance, gives businesses an incentive to cut workers' hours. This year, report after report has rolled in about employers restricting work hours to fewer than 30 per week — the point where the mandate kicks in. Data also point to a record low workweek in low-wage industries.
In the interest of an informed debate, we've compiled a list of job actions with strong proof that ObamaCare's employer mandate is behind cuts to work hours or staffing levels. As of Oct. 17, our ObamaCare scorecard included 351 employers. Here's our latest analysis, highlighting the consequences of cuts to work hours at more than 100 school districts due to ObamaCare's employer mandate. Recently, we examined Indiana's 10th Amendment challenge to the employer mandate. IBD also explained why the employer mandate will undercut the goals of ObamaCare — affordable, reliable coverage — even in cases when employers don't cut work hours. The ObamaCare list methodology is explained further in our initial coverage; click on the employer names in the list below for links to supporting records, mostly news accounts or official documents.
We'll continue to update the list, which we encourage you to share and download into a spreadsheet to sort and analyze. If you know of an employer that should be on the list and can provide supporting evidence, please contact IBD at [email protected] or @IBD_JGraham.

as of 3/23/10, your current policy would have been grandfathered in, had no changes occurred from the insurance company or you..this is what mr. obama did not make clear..his statement of "keeping your current policy"..was a true statement..if you have been continuously covered prior to 3/23/10 and nothing changed..you would not have gotten a cancellation notice..something changed.

Oh No. Not what I heard. If you like you coverage, you can keep it. And we keep our same Doctors, too, right? He promised that. Psych!!

It may be just a tax and nothing really changes, in the end for the country, except more tax. Individuals don't really count for Royalists. They just say that we matter, to lie for votes and it worked.

Tax and credits are used to mold behavior changes. We are a fat, slow, sick and retarded nation. Any change that may affect that is good.

Most of those fat, slow, sick and retarded citizens are welfare sucking, misinformed liberals.

Did I mention that the POTUS is a liar, plain and simple?
