    Light leaks and fan

Also, if the room isn't fully lit up after lights out, the plants won't detect anything. They can handle a couple lumens, such as a bright full moon. So dim lights won't penetrate the tent enough to cause issues.

    Light leaks and fan

You can reduce fan noise by doing a few things... Have ducting on both sides of the fan, even if you only need one side. Just a short piece will help tremendously. Use insulated ducting Soundproof the room itself. Door leak a lot of sound. If you add a door seal around the frame, and add a...

    Grow tent

Says it covers 2ft to 2.5ft, but a lot of it has to do with the quality of the less. I'd go off the reviews.

    Grow tent

Unless you have a need to grow a lot, you really don't need a 4x4. If you're a light user, a single plant yielding a few ounces every 3 to 4 months would probably suffice. You can get bags of soil that you just open, and grow right out of. Perfect for a small grow...

    Grow tent

That's a little different. Above you said your tent was a 2x4x5. A 191w led putting out the equivalent of 1200w? Either your numbers are off, or you're misreading the specifications. As a best guess, I'd say 191w would be equivalent to a 280w hps.

BN LINK Short period- Certain Outlets work?

If true, it would also mean that the outlets that the switch WAS working on are either wired backwards, and/or without the common wire connected

BN LINK Short period- Certain Outlets work?

I know it sounds kind of dumb, but have you put a piece of duct tape over the light sensor to make sure it's not the issue?

    Fogponics nutrient and volume levels

Fogponics doesn't work that great, from what I remember. The nebulizers destroy the nutrients and the salts build up very quickly, causing them not to work. Probably the reason no one really talks about it much.

    Sealed room points help

A lot of experienced growers have concluded that incremental fresh air exchange, or continual low-air venting is beneficial, and increases the yield beyond a fully sealed room.

    Day 25 (female)

I wanted to follow up with you so you can see me top a plant. You may cringe a bit, but trust me, they can take it. It'll take a couple days to recover and start growing again, but then I'll have four top colas growing, instead of one. I'm topping all four of my White Widows, but the one I'll...

    Sealed room points help

I hear ya. The scrubbers don't seem to capture absolutely everything. Once I get my LEDs, the 6" fan will have a scrubber just for scrubbing the air in the room, and the 4" will have it's scrubber. I'm hoping this helps. It's all legal here in OR, so I'm not trying to be stealthy, just...

    Sealed room points help

The wedges I have in each corner of the room are bass traps, used in studios. They capture a lot of noise, eliminating a lot of the noise bouncing around the room The grow room door has to be sealed as well. Here's my door sweep. And the door seal going around the frame The door...

    Sealed room points help

The 4" inline fan draws the air into the room, through the sealed closet. It is really important to seal the lung room. If it's not sealed, it will suck in the grow room's air, and much less external air, and the room will get hot. I'll explain the corner wedge below... The air brought into...

    Sealed room points help

A sealed room will actually greatly improve noise suppression, especially fan noise. Get neoprene door seals and door sweeps at you local hardware shop. Not sure why you'd need insulated duct tape, if there is such a thing. But if you're looking for some real robust, thick tape, try Gorilla...

    Soil or hydro

And with hydro, all the weights in the water. Empty, the totes and pipes weigh nothing. I can't lift bags of soil because of my back. But I've got a water outlet going into my reservoir, so all I've got to do is turn a knob :)
