    Frisian dew re-veg

Glad to see some replies! A little update: The dews have decided that it was time to start putting out regular 5 bladed leaves again. Gave them their first dose of maxsea yesterday and I can already tell they're loving it. Also got a huge rainstorm the other day. I don't know if its my...

    Outdoors In The Northeast

My Frisians are doing pretty good. Started them indoors as well, about 4 weeks before being thrown outside in May. 2 of the 5 started to flower, despite being on an indoor light schedule of 15/9. They revegged and are all about 4ft tall with more tops than I can count. This is my first time...

    Suggestions?

Ha, true. You guys grow some monsters in those pots. Wish it was feasible to guerrilla grow in them. Just not worth the financial risk of it all getting snagged by a ripper/heli come September

Yeah that's what I was talking about. Stumbled across a thread of yours awhile back and noticed you had popped Frisians and Marocs and thought that was cool, since we had the same strains going. I actually had 4/4 marocs germ, one being a trifoliate which I've never grown out before. Good luck...

    Suggestions?

Like veggiegardner said, you're gonna want to transplant to a bigger container. A good rule of thumb is a gallon of soil per foot of plant height, but more never hurt.

Holy... 65 gallon? Didn't realize they were that big! But then again, there's not much for scale in the pictures. Since it was my first year trying them I went a little cautious and only got 15's, but halfway into the season I can tell I should have went at least twice that. Can't imagine...

    Open Show & Tell , Outdoors 2014

Wow.. Your Frisian dew never re-vegged, or did you light dep it to finish it off? Curious to find out since I'm doing a few "dews", myself. Doesn't look like you got the purple pheno, but she sure does look dense and sticky. Very nice

What happened to your Frisians that you had going a month ago? Was curious to see how you were doing since I'm growing Frisian dew, myself. Unless I've got you confused with someone else.. Ha. In regards to your lighting schedule question; if i were you id just keep my lights on 24/7 to get...

Your girls are looking awesome, foothills. You've probably mentioned this somewhere in your thread already, but what size bags are you using? I went with fabric pots this year too and have had good results. I'll throw up a few pics next time I'm out and about on my rounds.

    Keeping Potted Plants Cool

I don't believe that myth either... In some areas you'll be lucky to see the daytime temperatures dip below 90 and plants in those conditions seem to thrive. I'm more prone to believe that high temps merely slow down growth, and that's only if the plant is stressed or in need of water. That's...

I was reprimanding the "shizz" haha. Had to be done.

    NorthEast USA Outdoor Yields

It's true that you have to water more often, but the point of a fabric pot is to air prune the roots, creating a thicker, healthier root mass. Also, the water evaporating from the pots keeps the root mass from overheating in the hot sun. Wrapping them in anything would defeat the purpose of...

Proofread My Gameplan - First Grow - DIY Organic - Northern Climate - GC

I think you'll find out the hard way that dealing with reg seeds isn't worth the initial savings. Once you factor in soil/nutes/watering and time devoted you'll wish you'd bought all fems, but I could be wrong. You seem to have done your homework on the basics, but the whole 1 bag of soil for...

Guerrilla Grow Done Right. Pulling 4-6lb per plant every time

Man you're getting ripped a new one by these guys... Not saying that I necessarily agree with everything you're saying, but I'm curious to hear the rest of your advice. EDIT: keep in mind this is an ongoing thread. And for the sake of keeping this civil lets just give him the benefit of the...

    Tree Frog on Guard!

I think it's some kind of tree frog, but not 100% sure. Pic was taken in upstate New York. We've got all sorts of wildlife up here. (Whispers) "I do cocaine" haha

    Grass Clippings

Those grass clippings will start to rot and produce heat. Mold will also grow inside the pile. If you're trying to conserve moisture I'd go with mulch instead.

    Low matinence guerilla grow?

1 week is about the most I ever go without a check up, but it depends on if you're growing in ground or in pots. If you grow in ground you can go weeks without tending them, depending on rainfall. I'm currently guerrilla growing in 15 gallon fabric pots and I find I need to thoroughly soak my...

Your plants are looking good, man. Thought I'd chime in because your grow is pretty similar to mine. I've got 10 fems total in 15 gallon fabric pots (roots organic). Also waiting on an order of maxsea, both veg and bloom. I'll be keeping an eye on your thread. Happy growing :-P
