    whats wrong with this seedling?

Have you been moving the plant around in relation to the light? Sometimes you can get some oddball phenotypes if you change the plants orientation to the bulb. Most common effect I call the swirlies as the leaves swivel to try to stay facing the light. Good luck, BigSteve.

Day 11 From Seed. Stunted growth??

I would transplant her into a much smaller pot, eh? When seedlings first go into dirt the plant expends most of its energy building a rootball large enough to support the plant. The plant will continue this mostly below-grade growth until the roots reach the inside of the pot. Then the plant...

    Too late to transplant?

We usually try to have plants in their finishing pots while still in the veg room. As you still have a month to go I'd transplant asap. If you are using plastic pots you can slice off the bottom of the pot and set it into a larger pot. Good luck, BigSteve.

Fast drying + curing VS slow drying and no curing

Danger Will Robertson. Drying/curing is a two part process. Drying removes moisture and curing evens out the moisture still in the product. Without curing we end up with soggy big buds and crispy small buds. More power to you if you have found a way to dry different size buds uniformly. Good...

ARE THESE TRICHOMES CLEAR OR CLOUDY?

Hard to tell from the pix but I'd guess milky. I've noticed in eyeballing tris that the darker the background you use to view them the more accurate a look you get. Spent years pulling off small sugar leaves and putting them upside down on a sheet of notebook paper while viewing with my 30X hand...

Can there be too much heat when drying?

If drying temps get too high I think the problem is largely cosmetic in that you'll likely get crispy critters and end up with product that crumbles too easily. Most of us try to keep temps below 85 or so. Crispy product is more likely to shed tris (and quality) and is less desirable...

    The ultimate drying chart.

    1) Fast dry -- My 400W bulb in my vegging room is suspended from a wire shelf rack so my shelf is between the ceiling and the bulb. I put a towel on the rack above the bulb and put my product in a large bowl on the towel. Has cut my fast dry time from 3 days to 2 days. Every 12 hours or so I...

    First time seed buyer

I wish I did. Broke my camera and haven't fixed it. What you can do is go to ... https://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/ and look the strain up. When at Attitude scroll down to the bottom of the page where the seed companies are listed. Click on G 13 Labs and find the pix there. Good luck, BigSteve.

    First time seed buyer

When you say growing to support your own use that suggests you need a strain that is easy to clone. I would try Blueberry Gum #1 or #2 from g13 Labs. They are mostly indica and usually produce shorter bushier plants. You want bushy to provide more growing points that become cuttings for clones...

    Starting my second grow

There is risk involved any time you transplant. If you feel comfortable moving them go ahead. With the tall toothpick plant be sure you support the stem while you move her. One method I've heard of but not tried for moving seedling like yours is to get a tall upside down clear water glass and...

    short plant

You probably put them into dirt for the first time in a pot too large. It has a good shape now so leave it alone until the larger fans extend out over the rim of the pot. Then you can consider transplanting into a larger pot. Good luck, BigSteve.

    Your opinion matters

Droopy leaves like that can result from too much or not enough water. Usually the latter. Before watering gently tip the pot to get and idea of how heavy the pot is. You can tell pretty easily when the pot is real light and you have to get them more H2O. Good luck, BigSteve.

Can I slowly move my 12/12 schedule to an earlier time over the next 2 two weeks?

Your suggestion would require a lot of unnecessary bulb clicks which you want to avoid. Nothing pops a bulb faster than twirling the timer with the ballast and bulb inline. It takes about 3 weeks for a flowering plant to revert to veg mode when you change the light schedule from 12/12 to a veg...

first time cloning,is my clone stunned?

I tried cloning in a glass of water just to see what happened. Took 3 weeks for the first tiny taproot to appear. That's twice as long as my regular cloning set-up with dome, etc. Domes are less than $10 and are worth it. Good luck, BigSteve.

    Starting my second grow

They need to be in smaller pots. Seedlings going into dirt spend most of their energy developing a rootball that is able to support the plant. By starting your gals in solo cups, for instance, roots will reach the inside of the pot much quicker. Not until the roots hit the container side will...

A reason why a new grower might not want to defoliate fan leaves.

Our plants are able to convert light energy to another form of energy, via photosynthesis, that the plant is able to use. This energy is produced by organelles which are tiny structures found on the underside of larger, read fan, leaves. By removing the larger fans we are reducing the amount of...

    Adjusting light schedule

I veg all my plants at 24/0 so you don't have to worry about shocking them. What you need to avoid is clicking the ballast/bulb on and off more than necessary. That's the quickest way to blow bulbs. Plug your timer into the wall, disconnect the ballast and use any electrical device (I suggest an...
