Why is it that none of the tincture recipes include ANY of this? They just say to decarb, put in Everclear, and either for 7 days in freezer or a month or more room temp; shaking daily. That's as far as they go. No wonder what I have isn't very strong. Now, what you are mentioning doesn't make...

I do decarb, 27 minutes at 250 degreees in the oven( a formula found online. I found so many, I just use this one). But, none of the recipes I found mentioned boiling down the alcohol. I use it as tincture, not making hash (yet). SO, I need the liquid, but maybe not as much? If I boil it down...

I used Magnesium sulfate, at 1lb per 100sq (figured out with pots!) scattered on top of soil and watered in. Did two applications, a week apart, and it seemed to have fixed the problem. thanks for all the help!
