I seem to be full of questions today. I'm making tincture for the first time. I've used edibles; made cannabutter & know that it takes about 30 -45 minutes to notice the effects, and they last for 1 1/2 -2 hours or so. But, I've read conflicting information about tinctures. One said it lasted...

I posted a thread in Sept about not getting emails on threads I watch, answer, etc...NO emails at all. I've changed my preferences ...ie: checked, unchecked...etc. trying to fix it, but to no avail. Is there anything I can do? I'm having to check back on every thread I'm watching...sometimes...

I used cheesecloth first, but it still left a lot. I also just emptied out the first filter, and it has a bunch of junk in the bottom. I think I'll just go ahead, keep using the filters and lose some of the liquid ;). thanks! also, mac, thanks for the heads up on the filters busting!

This is my first attempt at tincture. It all looks really great.... I'm using a coffee filter as suggested to filter out the last of the cannabis as I funnel into the bottles.... but it's 1) taking a LONG time, and 2) the filters are using a LOT of the liquid! I'm having to change filters since...

Well, the title says it all. ..almost. I have several oils for a vape pen that are about a year or so old. They've been in the refrigerator, but all are solid. I'm getting 'smoke' out so far, but I don't think that will last. Is there anything I can do?.... thanks for your help.

well, I guess I'll start grinding......

I've been using my little hand grinder to decarb, and my hands are tired. I've avoided the blender due to all the parts to clean after. Anyone use a blender instead of a grinder, and is it hard to clean up after? thanks!

I grow outdoors. Lights don't mean anything to me. So, when you say it is "flowering", is it after it actually looks like a bud?, or when you can tell it's going to become one? I just don't know when to start "day 1".....sorry to be so dense.

I know each strain has a certain number of flowering days (approx) before harvest. The thing I DON'T know is...WHEN do you start counting those days? I know it can't be when the hairs start showing...that's got to be too early, but I can't figure out, nor can I find when to start the count...
