Yes, check the trichomes to find out when to harvest. When the trichs are clear, it's too early to harvest. When they are milky/cloudy you will get a cerebral stone. When amber, you will get a body stone. When cloudy/amber you will get a cerebral/body stone. Good luck.

It really depends on the high you are looking for when to harvest. If you want a total body stone then wait til the trichs are amber. If you want a cerebral/body high, then harvest when the trichs are cloudy. Good luck.

You can always just prop it up with a tooth pick or a straw. I wouldn't worry too much, it will continue to grow upwards towards the light. Also, you could replant it with the stem in the soil right up to the cotyledons. It should straighten out after that.

You need to be looking at the Trichomes on the plant, not the pistils. The trichs will tell the real story. Get yourself a jeweler's loupe to see the trichs up close. You can find one on eBay for about $15.00. Here is what you are looking for:
