Help with new Phat muffler

I purchased a new Phat muffler to help keep the noise levels down in my grow but I am unsure how to run it in my setup. I currently have it like this: Carbon filter > Phat muffler > duct > Inline Fan

There isn't really much info on where the muffler's placement should be to maximize it's effects, but I ran it like this based on a recommendation from Grener's. Is this the best way to run my muffler or is it wrong?

I bought one as well in the hydro shop they had it placed on the exhaust of the fan.....I run mine Carbon Filter ducted to hood ducted to fan (attach muffler directly) to fan ducted and pushing air to attic

Im running mine phresh carbon filter <inline duct fan <phat muffler silencer <air cooled tube <ducting out the grow tent. Works great and very effective and noise is reduced. Happy growing.

Thank you brothers. It looks like I got some bad info from Grener's on the placement of the muffler. I'll swap it around to the inline fan exhaust. + Rep to each of you.
