8 Weeks into flowering, looks like 5 weeks in

Hey all, doing my first grow and I have a few questions if anyone has the answers. I'm 8 weeks into flowering, but my plants looks more like most plants at 5 weeks in. It's a indica strain called Fifth Wheel (brought from a seedbank). I'm using AN Jungle Juice for the flowering cycle, and things look great... for 5 weeks in. White pistils are everywhere, fan leaves are going yellow, but so far no bud production. I'm running 225w 2700k CFL, which I know isn't the highest, but it's all I can use at the moment. The plant is about 3 feet tall.

My camera wasn't good enough to take a clear picture, but this is exactly where my plant is at, 8 weeks in.

Since none of the pistils have gone red (maybe 5% red), I would think the plant still has a lot more flowering to do, but at 8 weeks in, I'm wondering if I'll ever get anything more than what I've got. Is a 12-14 week indoor indica flowering cycle unheard of? What am I doing wrong?

You need to be looking at the Trichomes on the plant, not the pistils. The trichs will tell the real story. Get yourself a jeweler's loupe to see the trichs up close. You can find one on eBay for about $15.00. Here is what you are looking for:
