Fair enough. Mine as posted above is a no brand, and proves the cheaper guys can sometimes match the higher end guys. I experience no humming what so ever, nor any problems!:blsmoke:

I bought my controller for $20 on ebay, some 'no name brand. But works excellent!

I use a 6" fan with a brushless motor, with a fan speed controller and can barely hear it even on full speed. Invest in a fan speed controller, a good investment for controlling noise & airflow! This one to be exact;

My advice. Get autoflowering seeds to start off, to learn the basics. Use good cfls (phillips) Buy a good tent that will last. Use coco + perlite as a medium. Best advice? Read.read.read -Happy growing:bigjoint:

Thought of that. But 2 males in a house and they might put 2+2 together.

So i have a 1.2x2m growtent in my laundry and i really dont want to dismantle it for a 15minute house inspection ( renting) Anyone have ideas of how to maybe distract/hide the setup? What have you done?! Thanks :bigjoint:

Please help me. I had these plants in soil and just before i went away i transplanted them to coco/perlite as i had a bug problem. With all the bugs now gone i thought i eliminated my problem. I return a week later to see some new growth and yellow dead leaves but no upward growth. Temp23c...

I run a 6" inline exhaust fan/6" ducting to my attic with no ill effects. However put a pantyhose on each end, to stop the dust & other gremlins. Without my carbon filter you can barely smell anything, vents well!
