People hate advanced...but I can easily get by with iguana grow and bloom alone.

Make sure your meter is calibrated correctly. I had to use two solutions to do so. After calibrating mine I get a zero PPM with plain water. Of course my water quality is really good. If your meter says 186, and its calibrated correctly, then it is.

I used to switch to all bloom nutes, now I work my way up to 3/4 veg nutes during veg. Then, when switching to bloom add 1/3 bloom nutes in first week. Then go 50-50 week 2. Then 100% bloom nutes on third week of flower. A slow transition seems to keep things green and healthy to the end for me.

I use it, and they have proved to be quality products. I use iguana grow and bloom as base nutrients, and I am pleased with how they keep things green and healthy. Otherwise I like big bud, and overdrive to finish. The other products I use that a re quality are Botanicaire calmag, sweet raw.

Starting at 1/4 strength grow nutrients plus other minor additives my PPM reads between 260-300. Id agree that after increasing to 1/2 strength it would be near 500, and maybe 800-1000 when things get ramped up to 3/4 strength base nutrients plus extras. I agree that I've never used ppm meter...

I hit it with serious side light. Seems to make the plant mature and ripen on the lower areas at the same rate as top. So you can harvest it all together!

Happy frog, perlite, and a litte jiffy seed starter mix for filler.
