Hitting 12/12 Bloom nutes right away or half veg/bloom

I'm using dyna gro foliage pro, protect, sea selp, floralnecter, and mycorrizae. I'm going to be switching to 12/12 this weekend and was planning on either feeding veg nutes or dyna veg/bloom together for the 1st few weeks. Should I just switch to dyna bloom right away because I've read the drop in N and spike in P will will minimize stretch, and the plants will flower soon with faster resin production.

When a plant grows up by itself in nature it doesn't get a change of nutriennts - It continues to grow and finish just fine. Nutrients are put in by growers in the hopes that they will ehhance the plants ability to grow more and bigger buds, etc.

Keep a record of what you are doing and learn some just by the fact that you're learning as you're growing. Experimenting is part of the learning process! Experimenting can be disastrous so go small and easy in that way of learning.

Very true perhaps I'll try a few different feeding schedules on 2 clones.

Run veg nutes keep nitrogen in the feed

It's strain dependent really. Most bloom nutes still contain N. I've found strains that do a lot of vegetative growth after the flip become n deficient if all they're getting is bloom nutes, but I've also found strains that don't stretch much after the flip yield more and quicker with only bloom nutes. U just gotta find what works best for the strain.

I used to switch to all bloom nutes, now I work my way up to 3/4 veg nutes during veg. Then, when switching to bloom add 1/3 bloom nutes in first week. Then go 50-50 week 2. Then 100% bloom nutes on third week of flower. A slow transition seems to keep things green and healthy to the end for me.

High phosphorus feeds at the onset of photoperiod manipulation can greatly contribute to bolting and overly leggy,spindly plants. This can be problematic in limited height greenhouses and indoor grow rooms with hot artificial plant lighting. A lower phosphorus feed or continuing with vegetative growth fertilizers the first 7 to14 days after lowering the photoperiod can help prevent this from occurring. Its especially true with naturally leggy varieties that have equitorial Sativa genetics in the plants overall makeup.
