The hps is a much stronger light and u can use it in soil, or hydro. When ur using cfl's, u gotta keep the bulbs super close to the plant to avoid stretching because the cfl's don't have the lumens the hps does to penetrate all the parts of the plant.

What strain is that? I mean it's totally purple all the way up. Like maybe she's freezin her ass off at night. Looks like u may have other issues, maybe ph or not enough light?

Don't trip if that's all ur doin. But for the light ur suggested using I can already tell u will not be enough. Ur plants will end up lanky with very few leaves on little tiny stems. get more lights before u even start, and no worries about the bill.:peace:

I don't know about the potency, but I'd say pull em, scrub ur room or whatever real good to be sure no more pollens floatin around anywhere, then start over.

Depends i guess on how hot the exhaust is, probably not hot enough to risk lightin the place on fire. I think it'd work, but even with the scrubber it'll still stink up the rest of ur house.
