I'm talkin actual temps at plant level. U want it between 70-80. 76 is optimal, and anything over 85 is generally hurtin ur plant. To find the perfect distance, use the thermometer, or just do like ur doin. U'll find that sweet spot :peace:

Sounds like u got the right idea, but what kind lof light are u using for veg? Also, make sure u got ur temps and ventillation right.

I think it really depends on the type of light and ballast ur usin, and how u control the cooling. I use a 400w hps without an air cooled hood and it is about 18in away. U can use the 'hand' method to chec temps from the light, but the best way to know for sure is to get ur thermometer at the...

ok, so how long does it take for them to show sex during the veg cycle? I'm sure it varies, but generally how long? Also, sounds like i need to study up on early sexing of the plants cuz right now I wait for hairs and say yay! Wait for pods... no!!!

So how ur sayin just leave it like it was veggin the whole time til it's completely done? How long does it take for it to show the sex of the plant this way? I've already done switched my lights to 12/12 about a week ago, but I'm not against experimentin with it down the road :peace:

yes u can, but remember it's gonna take some time to revert back to veg, just as it does when switching into flowering.

I'd say if ur plannin on growin it outside, then let be in the wind. It's get a nice strong stalk from it and lots of fresh air. Maybe take it in on the really windy days, but dont baby it too much :bigjoint:
