no,not really,as it takes the plant 2 weeks to adjust to the new schedule,and start to switch its metabolism over to flowering.If you just want to know sex,feed it 1/4 strength bloom nutes for a week or so,and you'll see pre-flowers in a matter of days.

Or clone the lower branches and re veg those,i do that...

yeah,training and veg time play an important part in the overall harvest.The plant in my avatar vegged since September,now in the 4th week of flower,topped once,and I look to get about a pound off of it.Your nutes are fine if your plants are happy.

The enhanced blue spectrum of the Eye Hortilux does great for vegetative plants.Its the bulb I use,and I've used them all.I like it the best.
