can i stop my plant from budding and make it grow more before budding it again?:leaf:

from what I read one way to get more bud is to harvest only part of the plant. When you do this your plant will grow through a regenerative cycle and new foliage will begin to grow.

Or clone the lower branches and re veg those,i do that...
Yep I do that, and it's worked out well. I just cut off two clones from my cheese which was about 4 weeks into flowering, and it worked great.

The new clones are both already over around a foot tall after only 2 weeks.

no,not really,as it takes the plant 2 weeks to adjust to the new schedule, and start to switch its metabolism over to flowering. If you just want to know sex, feed it 1/4 strength bloom nutes for a week or so,and you'll see pre-flowers in a matter of days.

well,I veg 18/6,aside from that,at the point I want to start seeing sex,I simply put 1/4 tsp. of Open Sesame into the feeding mix.The increased P&K levels start early flower development, showing me sex without screwing with the lights.

You don't need to flip lights 12/12 or nutes/enhancers to be capable to determine the sex of the plant. Most plants show their preflowers during 18/6 when the plant reaches sexual maturity; which is about 1.5-2 months of age since seed.

Open Sesame is good shit though, and if there's any nutrient that could induce early flowering, open sesame would be it.
