do you have some sort of exhaust and filter set up? fresh air exchange is super important...even if temps are in check.

have you considered mounting some light sockets on a piece of wood? Then they will all be attached to one piece and you can raise and lower it. It will keep the lights more organized and let you adjust the spread better.

for a nice diy low profile light-trap, check out scrublouvers...designed by a grower named scrubninja. I use them in a lot of my setups. ..otherwise yeh..just an angled cover painted flat black inside. Painting flat black inside the lighttrap helps a ton.

preflowers show up before the plants start to flower..it's totally normal. Those are old ripe preflowers you see..not new ones forming. My autos do the same thing.
