plant height seems a little below normal..hard to tell without pics.
What type of lights are they under, and how far away..temperatures?
the yellowing sounds like a nitrogen deficiency, have they been in the same containers for the past 6 weeks? the plants may have used up the nutes they need...
wow. I thought of doing something like this too..maybe it would make a large, supertall plant more efficient, like if it was 10 feet tall..lay it on it's side and grow roots on the opposite end...
I'm not sure if plants are capable of "transporting" nutes and water both directions in the stem...
wow that's great to hear...I was thinking along the lines of..if seed production could be done in the veg chamber it wouldn't affect your harvest, also it could be done quicker and you wouldn't have to wait for the rest of the crop to finish in fear of damaging buds and yield trying to pick out...
yeh it should be fine if it was minor, just kind of a bend and pinch in the stem?
just straighten it back up and maybe support it...make sure there isn't a "kink" in the stem when you straighten it out. Is it drooping at all?
nice tutorial. thanks Fdd.
I was wondering if you or anyone has experience regenerating males?
Do they operate pretty much the same as females do, or are they more likely to die after they produce pollen?
also, if you pollinate in early flowering and revert back to veg once the pollen...
The bottom tips of my clones have all turned brown after a few days. Is this normal? they're in bubbleponics hanging about 1 inch above the water, I used bottled water with a tiny bit of superthrive.
Could it be a result of the superthrive? I only used a few drops to a gallon, or could it be...
nice job with the early lst.
I would switch the bulbs to the smaller ones, lower wattage cfls are more efficient in lumens per watt and it will give you better light coverage. also you would be able to switch bulbs out later to better adjust your color temp for flowering, but get "daylight"...
nice pics, keep em comming ! I want updates!! here's the best pc/lst grow I've seen -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7jxGlGka9Q&feature=channel
little bit of room for improvement, like a full SOG canopy or stadium style maybe...
Nice job.
If you plan on budding them out in there as well, I'd recommend training them immediately. Use LST (low stress training)and create a mini SOG...in such a small set up you want your bottom buds to be as healthy as the tops.
Understand how gravitrophics (sp?) can help you mold your...
I've looked into this a little and from my understanding..
A burner or co2 generator completely burns all the gas efficiantly creating pure co2, the exhaust from your furnace or waterheater doesn't burn the gas very efficiently so it exhausts a mix of CO (carbonmonoxide) and co2 (carbondioxide)...
