you can find either the "Y" type splitters (turns one socket into 2) or a multiple outlet bathroom type fixture at home depot or lowe's etc...the "Y" adapters are probably in small bins by lightbulbs somewhere and should be like 1-2$ kinda depends on how you want your lights arranged to figure...

looks like a nice design and well thought out. I would however recommend using pl-l (2g11) bulbs for your "tubes" .. they're top of the line for cfls right now imo, much higher output for watts per sq inch/foot then other flouros, quite a bit better then regular t-5's even.

im no expert but I'd guess it's a ph problem, looks like a calcium/boron lockout(if i HAD to guess from that single pic). what type of "soil are you using? if you're running chemical fertilizers in soil keep a close eye on your ph, I recommend checking soil ph before adding (or not adding) any...

it can be in the genetics, or it can be caused by stress, accidental or purposely...some examples of accidentally would be changing light cycles, temperatures, over fertilizing...pretty much any kind of stress that makes your plant "unhappy" ..as far as genetics, some strains are more...

I'd use both your fans as exhaust and just have holes as passive intakes...make the passive intakes bout 2x the size of the exhaust...like if it's a 4inch fan exhausting then have two 4inch holes for passive intakes...you'll get alot more efficiency that way. I personally wouldn't worry about...

look into aspirin water, salicylic acid. also naturally found in willow trees...I've always wanted to experiment with overdoses of willow water but have never gotten around to it.. these probly aren't the most reliable ways to do it, but it's best i can do...you might want to check those out.
