    There's always one

Also, if you don't want to listen to experienced growers telling you the likely cause of your problems, you're wasting everyone's time. I use this RIU to learn. All I learned from this thread is a tiny bit about your character.

    Trichomes & Harvesting

Flushing schmushing.. Read some more of the early pages of this thread. They are pretty old now, but still gold.. The whole flushing debate is certain never to end until the dinosaurs that are still doing it have died, but it was pretty solidly debunked by the guy that started the thread. I'm...

    Severe leave yellowing

Here's the problem: It's your first grow and you are using a complicated and unconventional feeding regimen, that no one in here is familiar enough with to give you a confident answer. I'd say what others have said, which is that your plants probably need nitrogen. For your next grow, pick a...

    Is this a deficiency

None of this means anything. For someone with any real expertise to respond confidently, they'll need to know what or ppm this equates to and what the ph of the finished mix is. Good luck.

    Luckys new grow.

Great thread LL, I've just discovered it and read the whole thing - I really love your work. I'm just getting started really but there are so many similarities with my set-up that it's almost uncanny - perpetual grow difficulties, strain choices, underfeeding, fungus gnats, the lot lol. Can I...

    Sol-Skin, let the journey begin...

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply. The strips are great in my veg tent, so thanks. I'm particularly happy with your dimmers - they are much more stable and easy to use than my el-cheapo pots. Circumstances demand that I stick with 4x4 for the time being, but I'm always sniffing around for a more...

    Sol-Skin, let the journey begin...

Hi @welight . I'm thinking about these panels in a 4x4 space. Four of them = 720W which is 45W per square foot. Between 35 & 50 Watts/Sq ft has been the recommendation for older, less efficient systems in the past (unless I'm mistaken). Maybe a 6x4 would be more appropriate?

About to give up on this, had enough! Underfeeding?

Just a thought. You say you're watering 2x per day - do you know that they need this frequency? If that rockwool never empties out, there may be problems from that. 'Less is more' can be a hard lesson to learn (ask me how I know). Good luck, and remember all those corny memes about success...

Replant Those Long Stretchy Stems ( Its Easy )

I do this now as a matter of course. Start off with only half a cup and top-up if she stretches. Works every time. It achieves the OP's objective and satisfies all those who think they are likely to damage those tiny roots by lifting them out and replacing them. Another thing I've found is...

    Blimburn cindy-99

I bought a pack of 10 "Female Seeds C'99" and received a Cinderella 99 Feminised single seed, which I imagine was the Midweek Song own brand. 10 failed germinations from Female Seeds and one successful plant from MWS, which is going very nicely, despite some setbacks, which were beyond my control.

    Mylar Film

Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate that. I've had a better look now at panda film, and it's about the same price and certainly seems more durable. Mylar would probably be a once-per-season proposition. I think I can build my own , using these...

    Mylar Film

Team, I've built a grow room with two home-made 16-cob flowering arrays over 2 4x4 spaces, which consist of frames (like 4x4 tents) which hold up my lights and overhead fans. Also in the room is a 4x4 veg tent and a small table, holding my little clone/seedling tent. The flowering areas...

Please help diagnose this leaf issue..

Have a look underneath the leaves. You may see some tiny black specks. If you have a microscope, you'll see for yourself that those specks are the dreaded spider mites. I hope I'm wrong. Good luck.

    Sol-Skin, let the journey begin...

Nice. I really like the idea that the intensity actually lowers a bit in the centre, rather than the having the usual hot-spot. What is the retail cost of those 4 solskins, with Drivers? Edit: Maybe a link, if the numbers are on your site?

    Aussie Growers Thread

Too much food, but it's not the end of the world if you back off now. When they're that small in soil, they hardly need anything more than clean water. There is a whole section for plant problems here: https://www.rollitup.org/f/marijuana-plant-problems.65/

    New DIY LED light

Here's a question for @GrowLightResearch : Have you ever grown any Cannabis? I've grown some. I use a Lux meter to compare the performance of my three different light systems. It works fine. Two of my lights each have 4 drivers and, on each fixture, I need to tweak my 4 pots to balance the 4...
