16 3590s in a 4x4 would be great and quite a bit less expensive. I run mine on 4x 200W drivers and when they are flat-out, I'm at the highest end of the necessary light intensity. Sounds like you have done your sums though, because with 'only' 16 cobs, I'm running at the slightly less efficient...

I think you need more, faster drainage. You say quite confidently that they 'dry out in 2-3 days' but, if they are very small and slow-growing, it's hard to see how this could be the case. They look like they're in fairly decent-sized pots. If it was me, I'd wait till I thought they were ready...

That was the best tip ever. It's pretty cold here, so I've had that heat pad on non-stop. There was a dome over them for the first couple of days but I hardened them off pretty quick and now, they are doing quite well at about 65% RH.
