Unless you want to smoke it, don't feed it to your plant during flush is my motto. That applies to chemicals, ferts, and molasses. So I stop with the molasses during the flush.
I would start as far away as possible. Stick a cfl in there for the first few weeks. They cost a couple bucks at Wal-Mart. You are just wasting electricity with the 600w.

You're fine to take them up to 24/7 - it is very hard to stress a plant in veg, flower is where they get picky.
24/7 does make a plant shorter and bushier, but not by a ton.
If I were in your situation I'd switch to 24/7.
