The type of spider the OP is talking about is certainly not a spider mite and the only way Neem Oil would kill them is if you used the bottle to squash them - Red Back spiders are damn near impervious to most insecticides.

As your doctor has prescribed it, maybe you should ask him/her where to acquire your medication and how to administer the medication. Being a responsible physician he/she should have all the information available.
