I plucked the male flowers just before they are ready to burst open and pop them in a small zip lock baggie. I leave the top of the bag open to allow any moisture to escape. When I have a few dried flowers in there, I close the bag and flick the crap out of it which bursts the male flowers open...

Pretty accurate. Hot water, bath tub, razor blades & wrists ... 5 mins +/- till dead. Solvents on a stove ... yea, you could probably save most, if not all, of those 5 mins.

Most definitely, just have to wait about 5 weeks or so for the seeds to grow and ripen.

I don't think it will be long before growers start to realise that Kessil lights are totally different and far better than most (if not all) LED panel lights - maybe Kessil should come up with a new name to differentiate themselves from generic LED lights ... they are certainly not like any...

I love the Magenta light, in fact I biught a second one and ... I have now bought two Purple ones for vegging, just waiting for them to work their way through the Christmas mail overload. I'm living in Brissy which could explain why I love the low heat emitting Kessil lights :-) This thread...

I was chatting with a woman who used to work in Customs. She said that when they come across packages containing seeds (especially cannabis seeds) they would simply pop them in a microwave for 20 seconds then allow them to complete their journey to their destination.

This is a pikkie of one of my baby girls that is being grown for seed production, just benn pollinated. It is not huge as it was never meant to be, but the bud density is amazing. Grown under a Kessil H150 Magenta light.

Have a look at what I did to my male to help prevent pollen dispersal - that plant is still in my flowering chamber along with two plants that are being pollinated and one plant that isn't getting pollinated. Check the Colloidal Silver link in my sig.

If pollen "sticks" to the clones, then as it is "stuck" it isn't going to be floating around getting the girls in trouble. If you are concerned, just spray the clones with water before putting them in the flower room. Pollen can be troublesome but a bit of common sense and grow room hygene...

The image in the thread last week was better - liked the way it merged into a dope leaf.

CS kills a multitude of pathogens so would/could/should be beneficial in the rez. The only other outcome with CS is when it is applied to the bud sites and foliage of plants to turn the plant male from being a female, in which case the plant does need to be a "fem plant" to start with ... and...

They don't need light when under the soil but need it as soon as they emerge - so it is much easier to just have the lights on waiting for the seed to sprout. You certainly don't need a million watt thermo-nuclear device - just a couple of CFLs will provide more than enough light for the first...

Looking great - it amazes me that there are still people who don't, can't or simply won't believe that LEDs produce great buds. +rep for taking the time to show so many photos.
