I have heard of authorities checking forums, not something I’d be overly concerned about, though I would make sure my photos don’t contain any location data and wouldn’t advertise where I’m at! And I wouldn’t imagine the police are waiting for you outside, but always best to be careful! if it makes you feel better, I’m a few hundred feet from a police headquarters haha.
I imagine we will get legalisation in the uk in the next 5 years or so, perhaps with dispensaries and allow growing, it seems to be heading in that direction, I’m staying hopeful!
And don’t worry, if you decide you’d like to get your own walk in wardrobe to grow in, there’s some really knowledgable people here that I’m sure will help! Lol.

HAHAHA shit man this is funny. Thats sweet you got a cupboard full. Oh man that pic- the blue wall is a similar to my Dads old bedroom and he had a grey throw like that, his was on his sofa though and he also had a walk in wardrobe full of plants. The memories are still fresh. He also detached his smoke alarm as it kept going off cuz of the 'fog' when he and his friends were having a good smoke lol. No pit bulls though

Honking is the word lol! And i dont even have a very good sense of smell.
Im middle floor flat so smell wont get through the big ceiling/floor voids to neighbours and it wont get to next door as theres big house bricks separating us. It just encrouches out to my hallway and bathroom and could maybe get out into communal hallway which is a big 'No No' in my mind!
So, i have cut off that top larger bud cluster to dry out- currently on day 3 of most likely 7. It doesnt look very dry atall yet but small leaves starting to wilt.
Yesterday i put windows on the latch all day which really helped but today i forgot
but i have ordered an organic neutralizer which gives off a linen smell, its a small tub of gel like substance which should be enough for a little plant.
The remainder of the plant seems ok still- just slowly developing.
I think im only ever going to get away with one plant but next time a bigger pot and better soil and hopefully master away to keep smell out. Im fairly sure windows on the latch and neutralizer should be ok.

Hey,
This is how its at- day 4 of drying . Looks a bit flat and more leafy than buddy. Thats just one bit the rest are still on plant as the seem to be developing still.
Not sure on weight of this bit, ill have to get some scales. Maybe 1 gram??

Paper bagging alleviates burping. While also allowing the moisture in the buds to equalize after hang drying,BEFORE going into jars. Most people jar too early and get the infamous hay smell,or mold or have to burp umpteen times a week to get down to the correct moisture content.
I'm not telling you not to use paper bags as the other member did. Drying properly is just as important as the grow itself.
Have a read in the harvest and curing thread/s to add that knowledge to your grow quiver.
Once my buds are jarred,they are smokeable. No burping,except when I'm reaching inside to get a nug to cheef on.
Either way will work,one is more involved than the other.

so its day 7 now.
Still looks like it could dry out a bit more but have just took a sample bit off and baked in oven. Have only devoured half what i normally do and will have rest in an hour if i need to as not sure on potency yet.
Ive had too much before by accident and oh jeez lol i can see why some people have to reach for the paper bag.
The amount i have is hard to measure out, it will prob be too light to measure out on scales- i call it a sprinkle.
I shall see what happens tonight, eating it normally kicks in after about 20 mins with me so i think im getting a little effect starting now.

I think it needs a while longer to dry out. I had a good night sleep so thats the main thing just not much of a buzz going on.
I have noticed that anyway with the gear ive been buying but ive also got a new oven- this ones normal electric not a fan oven so im struggling with the required temps a bit. I used to go for 130 C for 35 mins now im doing 140 C for 35 mins. Im thinking a bit longer or higher temp now.

I didn’t mean the paper bag is a waste of time, just not to worry if you haven’t got any, they’re not essential, though I do agree it can make it easier.
Either way, great that you got some bud from your windowsill grow! Any idea how much you managed to harvest? Hopefully it lasts you a while, we’re all out of sunshine until next year! Lol.

So far i reckon about less than one gramme. The rest of plant i have left for now as its started to re veg which i guess means i can get a bigger crop eventually. Ill see how it goes, if plant looks like its dieing off or something ill crop it all.
Its a slow but fun process- been going since May lol.
The bit i have drying- i shall sample again at weekend at a lower heat.
Just looking at plant now, re veg bit look like they will be done in two weeks. Then i guess i could crop all- although that was the plan 2 weeks ago then it started to re veg. Imagine if it does that again it could be never ending.
As a guess rest of plant maybe- 5 gramme but ill get scales to make sure.

UPDATE- OMG LOL!!!
So the bit I've had drying for nearly two weeks- I decarbed it all on Sunday and scrunched it all up and sampled a bit that night without any great effect.
Last night however It was a different story. I gathered I needed to consume more- over double what I normally have, plus I decided to put it on a choc biscuit and a further blast in oven for 5 mins on high. All good at that point looked the right colour and was a nice treat with the biscuit.
Though nothing was gonna happen as an hour went by, then wack, lol. It worked and it worked too much like when I've had too much in past,I thought I had learnt my lesson.
Super dry mouth with little saliva, restlessness and clammy palms and 'head noise'. All ok though as I know it wears off after a bit and a drink of water but thank God I'm not due in work till this afternoon as I'm still sleepy.
This experience has confirmed my grow has actually produced something decent. I was starting to think it was no good as when I tried it before there wasn't much effect.
I just need to weigh my amounts to consume lol.
Plant doesn't seem to be re vegging anymore so I'll start cropping the rest soon.
For such a tiny plant this is becoming quite an adventure. I may get it to last some time as I use as an edible. I think for smokers it wouldn't last so long though as I think you put twice as much in a joint each time.

Just had a look at plant to visually see how much use i think i can get and i reckon 12 weeks maximum.
This though would mean i would need to grow 4 plants of that size per year all at the same time but that would be 4 times the smell at budding stage.
I could grow just one bigger plant but dont know if it would get too big and give off more smell than 4 smalls. What do you think?
If by a small chance, the police did visit. I dont know what would be the biggest offence- 4 smalls or 1 thats 4 times as big.
Im sure the rule is upto 8 plants before they take it too seriously but it seems a bit slap dash as surely the rule should go by amounts that can be cultivated rather than counting the pots.
Oh heres something funny- was talking about weed with my bf on weekend and he was saying about how it can fund crime but i said what about people who grow their own and are self sufficient. He said no one does that! Lol, there we sat in my livingroom with my plant growing in room next door. Haha
