Pierogies are the way to my heart ;) death row meal would have to have a home made pierogy on there. With bacon. And there could be NY strip too, nice n fatty :)

man I went to florida last year. if there's one chain restaurant we need over here that you guys have it's Red Lobster. i had NY strip with lobster topping like 3 times in a week. man that place rocks.

sadly the lobsters we get over here would get tossed back in FL for being tiddlers. our jumbo ones look like your big craw dads

so far i've had steak and double sunny side ups for dippin', steak dianne, steak simply fried with crushed garlic and fresh rosemary. i never thought i'd hear the words out my own mouth but i think i'm steaked out. but i'll be damned if i'm going to waste a £5 steak

Pork, prawn, garlic, ginger, water chestnut, spring onion, shiitake, and king oyster wontons :) 50 from this bowl, and 50 more to make, the next batch being heavily beefed up on the glorious mushroom front :) Didn't think it went too badly for a first attempt :)

Thanks :) was pleased with how they came out. Got two hours of driving tomorrow just to pick up a bag more wraps. I love taking dirt cheap import noodles, adding a good quality wonton or su mai, and coming up with something not bad at all :) Making them myself means about 100 of them for about £12, or i could buy them ready made for £6 for 15, so might as well have the fun of making them myself :) Will have plenty left over for soups :)

While i learnt a whole lot as a sous chef, this is the kinda direction i want to head down :) Chinese food is to die for!
