What's For Dinner Tonight?

Isnt it weird how so many good cooks grow good bud?
Not me :( I took my last job as sous chef under the notion of it being a salary that would be reasonable enough to rent a house and as such grow and enjoy life. Turns out that as sous chef they thought it fair to pay me £1K a month before taxes. Given a small house here goes for £600 before tax and bills, well, i quit, sod that. Gonna spend my time cooking for myself and family, and doing home study and become a psychologist. In a way i agree though. When you start of as a chef you take pride in what you do, and before long you take pride in what you do because of what you use, which is how cooking should be. When you start growing you take pride in it being your own weed, but before long you start taking pride in the methods you are taking and the genetics you are using. And before too long it becomes more about the genetics used, than what you are doing.

Random drunk musing. That aside, i cannot wait to get this year of self learning done, and then i can consider university, and growing with my gf. But yes, i smoked a joint, and i sat down for 2 hours after 30 minutes of prep, and i happily folded away. food is one of the most important things in life, not xbox, not cable tv, but a home and good food. My eldest brother is a hot shot lawyer in london. Earning money i could not dream of, but he can't even cook pasta. While i'd like his salary, i have to admit i prefere beng able to cook up wonderful fook for friends and falmy :)

not mac and cheese, lol. macoroni salad. it's a staple of the islands here. 2 scoops rice, 1 scoop mac sald and meat of choice... this is a mini plate though. only difference being is one less scoop of rice and less meat
Hey doc, what kinds of fruits grow on the islands? I used to live in africa and i cant even eat fruit anymore. It just tastes like garbage to me now. I used to love a fresh guava or passionfruit, its been so long since ive liked fruit i dont even buy it anymore. :( :):):)

Made another 50 wontons today after a 2 hour trip to the Chinese supermarket for more wraps.

Work done, now I have a bottle of beer and some dried cuttlefish to snack on :-) maybe a couple of sausage rolls with brown sauce before bed.

makes your breath soooo stink though lol
This one isn't so bad. I bought a different variety while with kuroi the other week, they were the whole cuttlefish. Even I had a hard time eating those at first. Kroi described it as how fish food smells. Intense stuff. I grew to love em though. I love my fish :-).
