it's a lense flare. you point a camera directly at the sun with out any filters and you are going to get lense flares and artifacts. Especially since it's a digital camera in a cell phone, it's not going to be very good quality. If there were an asteroid or planet close enough for you to take a picture with your cell phone, then you would have already known the planet/asteroid was in our solar system; gravitational forces would be off, the magnetic protection around the planet would be off, weather would be going crazy, it would throw other planets in our solar system out of their regular orbit.

Trust me, if there were a planet entering our solar system you would know well before you could take a picture with your cell phone. With as many amateur star gazers there are out there, someone would have said something and there would be stories all over the news about it.

Taking a picture this way to prove that there is a planet or asteroid out there coming for us is the same as using a camera to record UFO's during the day. Get a good video camera. Put it on a tripod on the ground and angle the camera so that you are looking at the roof of your house. Make sure that the sun is out and that the angle you are at the top of your roof is just barely covering the sun. After a while you'll start to notice little black objects racing around in the sky. UFO's right!? wrong. They are bugs but the light plays tricks on your camera and makes things look like something they aren't.

The other day I took a picture of my gran and her eyes were red. I think I may have exposed the great demon Nannagedon that possesses her, which may explain why she frequently smells of urine and brimstone and doesn't give me as much money when I see her. Also she only knits in red... I spoke to the priest and he said I should post on RIU, which makes perfect sense as stoners often have extensive experience and knowledge of the pseudo-scientific and supernatural.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
