I don't recall you posting shit about confidential documents when Trump was found to be holding thousands of them at Mar a Lago. so NOW you show up crying about this? The wailing sounds familiar.

Damn talk to text…

What I am saying is neither party is responsible enough to handle these docs away from the WH or a secure location or some over the top check in process. Or change the secrecy rating cause this is happening a-lot!

what you are doing is steering what I said to some partisan divide of “Trump V Biden” or “RED BLUE”. Lol. It’s not. It’s not what I was trying to say or compare. I understand the difference that once docs were discovered Trump made up all kinds of reasons to keep them and actively fight returning them whereas in contrast Biden is like “ya I fkd up but please, come on over and get them and check the sandbox cause my grandson is curious”. The reaction is completely telling butmy point is much more basic than that. We need to secure them better or declassify them and not care.

I have NEVER tipped anyone but a waitress in a real restaurant, where they come and take your order, a pizza delivery guy, or a cab driver, and i don't tip cab drivers if they don't take the shortest route. oh, and i usually tip for a decent haircut, depending on what they charge me for it to begin with.
My old lady is a waitress, they make $3.50 an hour, which might get bumped up if tips are really bad so that it will cover minimum wage.
They take turns doing the jobs you don't get tipped for, working the door and seating people, running the register, and being expo (putting all the shit together out of the window so the wait staff gets the right stuff), they get paid $17.00 an hour on the days they do that...
Asshats at starbucks get paid at least $15.00 an hour...no fucking tip. if someone at a fastfood restaurant does something special for me, i might tip them, but otherwise, no...no one who gets paid above minimum wage gets a tip for doing their job. if you can't make a living at your job, start looking for a different job...if no one will hire you for a better job, perhaps you need to adjust your lifestyle.
that being said, my old lady makes 50K a year as a waitress, but they work their asses off where she works, one of the more popular places in Pigeon Forge, they get 2 slow months a year, and spend pretty much the rest of the year on at least an hour wait list...waitresses at Freddies bar and grill in bumfuque REALLY need the tips, while the barista at starfucks across the street really doesn't....

Went to a NBA game, the snack counter prompted you to go through a tip menu, auto options for 15/20/25. Seemed kinda excessive.

The big uproar here is that many restaurants started adding a 20% back of the house fee in, plus you are still expected to tip. They say they don't want to raise prices as it will make them less competitive. It's an immediate disqualification as far as I am concerned, I refuse to go to those places. Don't try and trick people into covering costs you won't.

Fuck that, if you want to give your kitchen staff more money, let it come out of your pocket. If i see that on a menu, i'll get the fuck up and leave.
If it shows up on the ticket with no warning, i'm causing a HUGE fucking scene...A get the fuck up on a table and stomp on people's food scene.
How about people start demanding to know why shit costs so damn much at the store, instead of trying to pass the increase down the line?

Personally, I've had that job your girlfriend has in my early 20s. I tip everyone because I know what a struggle it is. I rarely eat out but always tip to go $5, Pizza Place for a slice $2, French Restaurant to go 20%, Lyft $5 Dispensary wait $20 so he doesn't leave. Nails $20 Pedi $10 Haircut $40 it was New Years Eve and I just walked into a place so I doubled the tip, Mailman $20 (my great grandma tradition) Zo from Myanmar who makes my Ramen noodles perfect al dente $20 Christmas tip. I tip at Starbucks but haven't been in awhile. Pharmacy delivery $5. Dispensary Budtender $20.

Roger, you're walking a mile in your girlfriends shoes.

I’ve noticed the tip vibe in restaurants has changed since the pandemic. When mandates were in place we supported our local restaurants by getting takeout and we tipped high (20%). That’s a lot for takeout! The staff were very appreciative as not everyone did that. We wanted to keep our favourite restaurants open and didn’t mind paying more to help.

It wasn’t that long ago a 15% tip was considered good, 18% was great. Now that we’ve returned to dining in, an 18% tip doesn’t seem to be appropriated as much as it used to.

Maybe it’s just me.

If its a service i tip.
Most if not all cabs, hairstylists ,uber, shipt, tattoo, etc are contract workers or self employed.
Tipping is extremely helpful

Drivers have a whole slew of other issues most have to use their own cars, which hurts their vehicles andhas added expenses.

I always am a gracious tipper.

India created 650 million new Indians in just 25 years.

Japan not doing so well.

Seems to be a first-world / management problem. "It's too expensive to raise kids" say people in the 3rd/4th richest country in the world with a GDP per capita 7x higher than India.

I do tip people that i think deserve it...wait staff, delivery drivers, barbers, cab drivers if they know their job.
I'm not a cheap bastard, i just don't think most jobs deserve it. Listen to what Mr. White has to say in that clip...It applies to waitresses, drivers, barbers...It doesn't apply to punks at starbucks

I remember a time when there was a company called Ticketron circa 1960-90, where I could choose seats and get them for ANY concert and I'm talking the greatest of all time.

Then something happened- it became 1995.

The FCC has work to do; once again technology has been weaponized so they can scalp fast, in blocks re-selling at exuberant cost. Is this Free Market @Rob Roy? Gaming the monopoly? OMFG! I remember being that age and how important it was to get tickets.

I'm glad they're doing the above it's long overdue; sadly, Ms. Swift is her own monopoly- Many fans, not enough concert dates.

Unfortunately, someone is bound to be disappointed..I also understand what's it's like to follow the rules only to be disappointed.

Isn't the premise behind Japan's child issue one of their making? Didn't they limit children at one point because small island country, many people?

Roger, why are you hating on the Starbucks Barista? Here's what the 'punk' goes through.

Not everywhere, is Pigeon Forge.

that ws what they were telling us about most of the world when i went to school, that overpopulation was going to be a huge problem, we wouldn't be able to feed everyone, there wouldn't be enough water for everyone. this all had a particular emphasis on China and India at the time, but it was supposedly a world wide problem....seems like that problem pretty much solved itself.

there's a shoe store around the corner...the guy there goes through the same shit every damn day, AND has to smell feet all day, and no one tips him...

You don't tip retail employees..you tip service..food, driving, delivery. To Insure Proper Service. TIPS..you actually long ago did this prior to the service, not after like we do now. You drop your car at Valet you peel off a $20 to make sure he takes care of the car. If you're a Baller it's $100.
