...It's a deviant sexual behavior because it's a small statistical anomoly...
Please tell me what accepted level of biological variation is needed in order to meet the cusp in YOUR "small anomoly" qualification? Is a deviant someone who is EXTREMELY good looking, u know like zoolander? Its not deviant if its a natural scale reflected in biology, right?

Are you aware many cultures already have names, and places in their society, for men who play with dolls and weave baskets, women who hunt and build, etc...with no attempts to extricate...it is ACCEPTED AS NORMAL...If people look up cultural anthropology instead of mouth off about what is "natural" in ancient societies and primates, we could worry about other things instead of where your neighbor puts his penis.

I think you have been led astray of the reality we live within, history, and what is actually natural. You can't show acceptance toward others until you are honest with yourself.

...and it serves no biological purpose...
neither does my appendix, the toenail on my pinky toe, my ear lobe, ...

which is why we have genders (plural) for a reason. A male flower pollenates a female flower. That's just basic life and anything that deviates from that is, well, deviant. Again that is just a fact, no matter whether you believe in evolution or creation. It may be PC to call it "normal" but that doesn;t make it so.
I think theres many readers in here who have experienced hermaphrodite plants in times of stress. While sensimilla produces high thc weed, it is only like this because of human cultivation. IN NATURE, it is normally hermaphrodite.

It could be we have half-gendered people, and the whole range, in order to balance out the war between masculinity and femininity, in order to provide a balanced and understanding society ( would be without human-hating-fear-inducing-war-creating-brainswashed-citizen-harboring certain religious organizations ).

Indigenous societies and primates can successfully deal with homosexuality and what not in their society, why can't humans? ACCEPTANCE BENEFITS THE SPECIES BIOLOGICALLY. Where did these big ideas about human sexuality expressing itself naturally being deviant come from? Maybe something about that NWO and the rule of law, not the law of jungle? ;D

Blah blah blah...

You can call it "normal" if it makes you feel PC or better but calling it normal will never make it so. There is a reason we have male and female genders not just in humans but in life. While there are deviations or anomalies (if that word makes you feel better), the norm is the norm and that's not going to change anytime soon. You don't have to like the truth but you can't change it by calling it something else. Society can accept a deviation but it doesn't make it less of one.

Common in the loony bins maybe...

Not one libertarian has gotten more than 0.5% in a general election since 1984 because libertarians are kooks and most people REJECT their platform. :D
Maybe you missed it. Ron Paul is projected to get 20%+ of the country if he runs 3rd party. That sure sounds like a viable 3rd party to me.

No way he gets 20% of the actual vote. His base is one of the most unreliable voter blocks.

Nonsense, they're middle of the road, want it both ways, wishy-washy, half-liberal, fiscally conservative half-breeds. :D
Republicans apply freedom to your financial life and want to control your social life.

Democrats want you to have control of your social life but want to control you financially.

Libertarians want you to control all aspects of your life.

The democrats and republicans can't apply their ideals across all spectrums of life. Libertarians can and do. Republicans and Democrats are the wishy washy ones. One uses the mythical god as an excuse for controlling your social life. One uses the mythical social contract to control you financially.

how is being able to marry the person of your choice a "special right"?

since being able to marry the person of your choice is a "special right", why do we give it to heterosexuals? :dunce:
We shouldn't. Marriage should be done away with as a privileged institution of the government. I agree it is a special right. There should be no tax break, and it should be nothing more than a contract it is. A contract between two consenting adults. The government should have no say about it at all.

The same reason Libertarians believe this way is the same reason they believe the civil rights bill is horseshit since it gives benefits to a race - not protects them from attack. Everyone should be the same, the civil rights bill did not accomplish that and thus is a very racist as it puts one race over another.

It's wrong because a gay man doesn't have to pretend to be straight to marry a woman. They just have to be willing and pass a blood test.
I didn't have to take a blood test to get married. That is a local law. I think the issue is "Why does ANYONE want to get married." It is because there are perks and benefits from it. If there were no perks and benefits from it then the government wouldn't need to control marriage and no one would care either way. The government/church/ect purposely made perks and benefits for marriage so they could control it.

I am all for gay marriage, not sure why they want it tho!

To have the blessings of churches and religions that have branded you sinners for centuries?
To have a piece of paper from a corrupt govt that says your a "legal" couple now?
To have health care?

My major national health insurance company already covers "partners as spouses" in "non married" same sex couples... MINI RANT!But then again I can't add my "life partner" because we are a traditional M/F couple and not married.

I guess if someone wants the govt involved in their relationship from marriage to divorce, in taxes, alimony and child support. I say go for it champ!

As a divorced (x2) straight male I for one would love to see civil unions for straight people, be able to add my opposite sex "life" partner to my insurance!

Yes. Liberalism is a mental disorder, socialism and communism are symptoms... :D
Libertarianism is self control of your life. Financially (a republican talking point) and socially (a democrat talking point). You are obviously incapable of understanding the difference between Classical Liberal vies and Social Liberal views. Social Liberals are the Democrats. Classic Liberals are Libertarian. Republicans are Fiscal Liberals. Classic Liberals are the only real Liberals. The rest are simply differing levels of statism.

hell, they've done studies where people call for customer service or about a job application in a "white" voice and a "black" voice. guess who gets a better outcome?
That has nothing to do with race. Simply put if I'm an employer looking for a competent employee I want them to be able to speak good English.

I believe the actual study you're referring to is the one about common black/common white names.

No, they want it for the end of life decisions: things from estates rights all the way to a decision on when to the pull the plug. Plus, they want to be treated as equals by the government.

Everything but the government part can already be legally done.

I can understand that and I would rather have the "one" I love make my decisions then some parent or sibling who most likely does not like or accept my life style.....!

BUT
, as stated my health insurance allows for health coverage for "partners" in non married same sex couples.... BUT, as stated it also does not offer the same to traditional m/f non married couples.

I live in Iowa, which is a state that allows gay marriages!

Insurance is mandated at the state level! So the way I see it is that they are not being stated as an "equal", but are in fact being placed on some special level.
