You mean the money he took from someone else to give to you? No, didn't take part in that...
no, i'm talking about the "making work pay" tax credit, where you get to keep $400 more of YOUR OWN hard-earned money every year, among other tax breaks.

if you didn't take part in that, it's because you don't work or pay taxes. so either you did take part in that, or you have been out of work for a long while.

Listen to the whole thing... I agree with every word he said.

If I am able to, I will certainly send my kids to private schools... however I'll probably end up home schooling my kids as I plan on raising them far from any city.

The system we have now does not work, so it's time to start changing it... as he said it won't happen tomorrow, but over the course of many years I think we could revamp our K-12 schools in to something MUCH better than they are today.
that's fine, the overall sentiment is decent, but the devil is in the details.

privatize all schools? what about families that can't afford it? you can't even work at mcdonalds without basic literacy and math skills. you might be able to get some work on a farm, but this ain't the agrarian society, libertarian wet dream of ron paul here.

And where did the money come from that replaced yours, allowed you to keep more? Hmmmm, from someone else... And yes, I work, I am an independent contractor/business owner, so no, I didn't take part in that...

You seem to think that those in the education career field won't offer education to low-income families?

With his current plan of giving education choices to the states and their local communities... I am more than sure that those schools will also be of a high caliber in regards to quality education, the PEOPLE will see to this.

and as far as "where did the money come form that replaced yours?"...it didn't. hence the growing deficit.

you can't keep cutting taxes everywhere and not expect the deficit to grow, we should have learned that during the reagan years when the deficit was really blowing up.

I am a sociable person... but the difference is I like to be able to choose who I help, I will always help my fellow man if they are willing and show the promise of helping themselves as well.

As a human I think it is the best one can do to help their fellow human, but not be forced in to doing so.

i think that sometimes "force" is required to make people play nicely in the sandbox. civil rights would be a good example of when i feel "force" is justified.
