Lol, yeah doing that by hand is pretty unrealistic.

What you going to use the barn for?
never used one of these???

get the job done if you dont have a bobcat or another skid loader.
its a lot of fun til your ripping through the dirt full throttle nice and smooth.. then you catch a big ass root.

Dude! That's awesome. What all you got left to do, doesn't look like much?
Yep, almost done! Just the roof and the cupolas. Pig and cow wind vanes on top.

Concrete, electric, insulation, and plumbing are next years projects. It'll be my machine shed till then.

Fucking sweet man. I kinda like doing electric and plumbing. Fuck doing concrete.

My latest and biggest endeavour was getting a china cabinet then realizing I had to move the furnace thermostat. :dunce: Not too bad though.

I don't mind concrete. I have my own mixer, it's pictured a few pages back. I did my basement, only took 13 hours, won't ever attempt a project that big again with it.

I'm going to order the stuff for the barn and have them truck it in, it's going to cost half as much as the building itself. But I'll do the work and save there, I already have most of the tools.

yep....this thread has made me feel bad now. Even this beer taste bitter as I look at all the shit my house needs done. I fuckin crashed my van into the house last summer ( well, it gently slid, but still!)the bathroom door still doesn't close in that room. I used to build houses, so I need to fix that asap before family starts showing up here for holidays. Asking " wheres the bricklayer?" ...fuckers.....but I did get my 6 year old granddaughter up to her green belt this year, she started at 5 , in Sanchin Ryu, so we have been busy. Karate is tuff on an old man...lol.

Im currently in the process of making a Pitbike not sure if you guys are too fimilar with them. You can either purchase production ones like BBR, PisterPro etc or you can take little bikea usually 50cc-125cc like Honda, Yamaha, Kawi etc and supe it up for an adult/bigger person.

Right now I have a Honda CRF70 Clone that I'm in the middle of beefing up in to a pretty decent Pitbike to mess around on.

My plans for the bike are as followed:
I'm going to be switching out the tires for IRC IX 10" 80/100, Adding cradles to the frame, Switching Handlebars, Replacing Throttle Cable, Carburetor, Switch out regular stator with inner rotor kit, New CDI + Wire Harness. Repaint frame.

I'm currently in the process of painting the new handlebars that will be going on, I finished priming them yesterday so they'll be getting painted within the next few days.

Still waiting on shipping for my Inner Rotor Kit + CDI and Wires, Cradles and Carburetor.

Won't be replacing the tires until next spring after the winter.. no point in wearing them out.

I've been thinking about a project for the up coming university holidays and I've decided to use micro-controllers to allow me to monitor the heat, light intensity, soil moisture, humidity and individual plants in my grow room in real time, all from a web interface. I'll also be incorporating a low-cost security system into the design which will give me a live feed utilizing a webcam straight into my grow room when the alarm is triggered. I'll be using both an Arduino and a Raspberry Pi for ease and automation.

What do you guys think? Is there anything else I should incorporate into the mix?

I haven't gotten much done on the barn, 4 pieces started on the roof. Weather has been shit lately and I've been really busy with the farm.

A couple of good days and I'll have it done. Can't have any wind or wet, each roof panel is 3' x 18' and will take you for a ride if a good gust catches it.

I built these this year. Have a few more projects that r pretty cool. Other then that it's just plain old chain link fence and barb wire jobs.
