my buddy put a 383 in his iroc. It was fast before. Now......just waiting for the first snow fall then im taking my truck off the road.. full frame off.. freshen the 383 up (needs it).. going roller EVERYTHING haha. fix up the body, plasti-dip it flat black and wait for the snow to go home. ill have to document this journey, so i can lose the pictures later in life.
nice build ron. It looks soooo much better. I especially like your wood delivery systemFinally got tired of the Ugly, and decided something had to be done. Took me a little longer than first thought (but then again, doesn't everything) plus it makes the task of getting wood on the deck a whole lot easier.

Epoxy floor w/non slip grit. Propane furnace and ventless heater, water softner,100k btu propane boiler with powervent, trench waterline in. piping,insulating,electrical,stairs,deck/landing automatic bromine/chlorine dispenser, trench water line and set the swimspa. Rolled it in on pvc pipes slick as a frogs ass. Jacked it up pulled the pipes out and set her down.
the stairs are on casters so I can roll them out. The access panel with the pumps and controls are on that side.
It holds about two thousand gallons. I still have to make the boiler work with the controls on the swim spa though. Not exactly sure how I am gonna do this yet. I have a couple ideas. For now i'm just turning it on for a couple hours a day and it retains it's heat pretty well for 24 hrs. .
Probably gonna add a solar water heater next year. Thinking about adding a sand filter soon.maybe put it under the deck idk yet.
The guy wants to do some kind of mural on the walls. I was like damn.... Why did you have me paint them white then?
This thing is friggin bad ass. I swear you could almost surf in it. I got paid for the job, and the kids and I get to use it daily Of course I am responsible for the maintenance too though.
Yeah no kidding. Me and my buddy were just talking the other day how the weather went from summer to winter and fucked our outside shit all up. I ain't got too many inside projects left to do though. Guess I'll just have to get high, wait and do nothing.I never did get a break in the weather and Winter came a month early this year.
I won't forget about this thread. To be continued...
This is how old barbershop quartets would shake themselves apart.Today I'm working on my farm truck. It's an old beast, 89 F350 flatbed.
The old harmonic balancer went bad so I'm changing it out for a new one.
If its a tight fit don't beat it on, just take it in the house for a hour and then it will slip right on.Today I'm working on my farm truck. It's an old beast, 89 F350 flatbed.

It's a cool trick to know - but you can't screw around, get-r-done quick.when pins are tight we'll chill them with dry ice till they shrink up.Then heat the other parts w/ a torch.Usually they slide right in
When I worked for a heavy equipment company we would have to set bushings in excavator buckets using liquid nitrogen, it was stressful as hell. It's a cool trick to know - but you can't screw around, get-r-done quick.
