Thanks man, honoured to be compared to Rize on my first batch with his method. The quality of the starting material is the most important of the "secrets" I think. Super excited to run another batch with a different strain this week!! Keep posted for ALL of my experiments ;)

like ive said before... give anyone 2lbs of AAA bud, freeze it, mix ice and water... mix it all together gently for 10 mins, and drain. done!!!! the most important step is the first one.. acquire AAA material.. cant make chicken soup out of chicken shit.
 
Welp, not full melt :( but very very good and bubbles like crazy :) looking forward to running a batch of my lavender and my friends tangerine for more personal ice wax and to test if I can get FM from a higher percentage sativa. Have to admit that this is def in the top 5% of any hash I've ever had, made by me just makes it all the sweeter :) cheers Matt Rize and can't wait to post up more. My girl got some pics of the ice wax in the sun today, so will post that up in the morning.
 
Just ordered myself a Atmos vape pen, super excited to try it and be able to partake at work discreetly :) will give full review here once I get it. Yeah I wanted the omicron, but just not in the budget right now, maybe after I establish a bit more business with the dispensary I am working with ;)

I am currently using a griddle where the lowest setting is 150 (about 115-125 in the vac it pro). Should I invest in one of those nuwave cooktops? Please advise. If I get perma goo one more time I think I might break something!!!!

150F will consistently produce goo. You could replace the griddle or set the pot on a trivet to insulate it from the griddle some.
 
yup like fadedawg said. maybe put a few layers of paper under the vac it pro so it doesnt get as hot, or a thin thin layer of coardboard. 100-120F works for me.

I got a cheap griddle at wal mart for 20$... probably 12$ down in the states at wal mart.
 
Thanks, it is! Bubbles real nice but again no full melt. Gonna run some straight nugs of tangerine this weekend, so I can get some FM lol thankfully i have no shortage of great material to be working with.
 
Thanks Frenchy, yeah not running it this year tho. Doing Chocolope, Purple Haze and blackberry kush ;)

This is simply not true. There are plenty of people out there who can make great hash out of 'not so great' starting material.

Just because you cannot, doesn't mean this is the case for everyone else.

nope still think its opinionated, because feel the same way as VP.... you didnt add any accurate information you just said, no you can make good stuff from not so good material..... you my friend have never been to Texas and seen the Mexican weed the bring across the boarder, there is nothing you can do with that.... also if you have old bud where the thc has degraded and turned dark, yea that stuff taste like ass.... old weed smell and taste cant make that go away....

It's not an opinion. It's a fact. If you know what you are doing, it can be done. No, i've never been to Texas.. there is no reason to ever go to that godforsaken state.

I took this, thousands of seeds and all..

There absolutely are tricks in this game. I am not saying this was as bad as some straight brick from the cartel or anything.. but it was pretty damn bad. I wouldn't smoke that, ever. But when you know what you're doing, making great hash isn't so tough.

No water, no solvents, no refining or cleaning.
 
lol.... just because it has seeds in it doesnt mean its bad, its market value that is bad not the bud....

Yeah, I have tried 2 phenos of the chocolope myself. One has the cocoa flavor for sure, the other pheno has the more hazey taste. I've heard the bb kush is a VERY good plant to run for hash as well.
