Yeah, it's like the fat kid in middle school. Definitely getting enough nutrients but is slow, sluggish, and underproduces.

BTW, how often do you get bugs? Fucking cigarette butt on the floor? Come on, dude.
Bug free my boi! My ppm on the 700 scale is 1960ppm out of that in a weeks time my soil test brings back 400ppm so I’d say they’re using up the nutrients. I don’t have burnt tips or anything. My question to you is have you ever used Athena nutrients? As for the one cigarette butt big deal! As to the fat kid in middle school being sluggish, if the fat kid get a hold of you what will happen? I’ve been growing over 20 plus years! I’ve only had powdery mildew once in 20 years. I’ve never had any bugs except when growing outside. Outdoors I’ve only had leaf hoppers, and the occasional spider ️ here, and there. I install & service lawn, and vegetable garden sprinkler’s commercially, and residentially. I’ve been working with the top landscape design companies in the entirety of my State. I notice plenty of ppl worry about using nutes because of cost but when it comes to my dear beloved Cannabis I spare no expense when it comes to feeding them. I don’t fuck around

I’ll turn my lights off in a few hours so the light doesn’t hide the truth! You’ll see my plants aren’t burnt or lacking. I do have maybe a spot or two that started to show a deficiency but I’ve taken the steps to correct it before the flip which is why I put it off by a week

Dry backs with coco are absolutely a necessity
Why do you post advice and not state the reasons why?

Dry backs in coco with synthetic nutrients causes the EC in the rootzone to spike. Coco has a low cation exchange capacity so it doesn't hold onto nutrients like soil does and so it's best to feed every watering. Runoff is imperative at every fertigation event so that you keep the medium at a consistent EC.

I've always feed water feed water. Never have runoff. I feed synthetic. I've tried feeding everytime and always lockout when I do. In my experience coco hold salts just as much as the next medium. Hence why ppl say to water to runoff. I've just found this isn't necessary.

Feeding every time to runoff is only half of it. You have to keep the medium at 90%+ saturation. The feeding every time is not the problem (assuming appropriate EC feeds); it's the drybacks that are causing the salts to crystallize and cause a lockout.

I’ve ran both ways hand watering with no runoff and was able to successfully get them to the finish line but ran into far more issues than running daily feeds to runoff.

Good advice. I'll skip today's water because I'm lazy But from now on I'll make sure too do daily I got the pump and res going now, if I mix up a batch I can feed for 5 days before it runs empty in the res, and I need too remix.

I don't want them too grow anyhow haha I need too move them out of the tent and into their final grow position lol. They are so crammed in and exploding now even more. I split 3 plants down the center stem and just dripped honey on the splits, and the plant is just growing back and healing around it so fast. I've never seen such strong plants and growth in my life in soil. Coco is off its head. I'm going too move towards rdwc and aeroponics just for fun and education. Eventually.

Move these girls into their final pots underneath 1500 watts or so and just veg and when they start taking off I'll add the rest too make it 2600 watts. Was going 3k but now 2600watt.

I want auto watering by solenoids, rdwc, and areroponics systems, advanced watering and nutrients techniques just of how interesting it is too learn things.

Will take years on the journey but it will be cool too share and grow as a person.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Be a busy next month getting their final home ready.

They are so dense there is bit wet spots in the leaves it's very sticky smells like thc lol but I know I need them out of the tent and too get the air going through them

Fed like 2.1 ec. Plenty cal mag. Silica

Now just knocked back the a and b grow solution and kept everything else thr same just too bring ec down too 1.6 - 1.8 try and find what the plants like I think the 2.1 was too hot. I had burnt tips but also I think that was the led lights too close so just kinda learning atm first.attempt at hydro
