Help! Small plants 3.5 weeks in!

Hi all, I’m doing RDWC for the first time, coming from coco.

It’s been 3 and a bit weeks since my plants sprouted and I’m worried about the size of them. Given my last run in coco my plants were about three times the size. I’ve been feeding them with a PPM of 300-350 (EC 0.6-8) my PH is at 5.8-6.0

I live rural and use rainwater as my source. I’ve added a bit of calmag to the mix too as I have a base 0PPM water.

I am using Floramax nutes as recommended by grow shop (saw his plants

I certainly don’t have root rot, there’s no foul smells and the roots that have come through look healthy, albeit stained from my liquid nut

My lights are on 20% power as I noticed the stems were getting red at anything higher. Water temps are 21-22c dropping to 19 at night. I have a powerful air pump with air stones in each bucket. My lights are on
20/4 schedule.

The roots have been growing out of the side of the net cup on some plants so I have just raised the water level to submerge the net cups in the hopes that they can get more food and growth (just did it today, before that I had a one inch gap with the bubbles popping under the net cup)

My seeds were around 2 years old, could that also be an issue? The cotelydons were stuck on some of them when sprouting (the more unhealthy looking ones)

Or is this normal for autos in RDWC? Note that the plants with deficiency’s I believe is because I just left them with only one root in the water and didn’t feed them enough. I’ve since been top feeding to try and promote root growth.

I’ll put pics of the other root systems. My best plant is the one pictured. The other have one long root out the bottom and some small one shooting halfway out the net cup on the sides

Give me the ppm of last 3 days and ph.
Allsoo netcup should be just above the water
You should top feed until roots hit the water
