So you think nitrogen deficiency?

People mainly said too me so far magnesium.

Would mixing a fresh res with 1.7 or 2 EC help do you think ?

I usually run 5.8 pH what u think is best ?
Yes, but the deficiency that you should be concerned with right now is N. Yes, if it were me, I would bump it up to 1.5EC and 5.8pH for a few days and reassess. If running RO water, I'd put it at around 1.2EC.

Make sure you add your nutes correctly: Silicon first (mix and let sit to for a while to bond with the water) before adding calmag (if you're running RO), part A, part B, then additives, all while mixing in between each so nothing precipitates out of solution.

Keep in mind that chlorotic and necrotic leaves will not get better.

Will do bro thanks for the advice I'll do it and get some cal mag tomorrow and have a attempt see what I can do.

Most the plants look find 1 plant is suffering the most. That's the one I defoliated as well just out of interest. It has less fan leaves so maybe it trying too grow more new leaves and not having all them extra leave for energy and too maybe help itself as much as the plants with more leaves ?

The water test shows it has magnanese but no calcium.

Is that why it's showing calcium deficiency?

I looked at calcium and MAG deficiency photos and it looks more like calcium.. I've fed 100ppm of magnesium crystal in the res the last 3 days. But no calcium

Calcium deficiency affects newest growth first. Magnesium deficiency affects older growth first. The reason why is when the plant can't access Mg, the older leaves transport the Mg to the new growth to keep the plant thriving, leaving the old growth deficient. This is called a mobile nutrient.

Plants are unable to do this with calcium, so you will not have older leaves showing a calcium deficiency first. That is called an immobile nutrient - it cannot transport the nutrient from old growth and give it to new growth. Watch the video below, as it explains the deficiencies and how to identify them much better than I do. It is a webinar done by a botanist with a PhD in horticulture. Put it on 1.5 or 2x speed.

Once again, though, these are micro-nutrients. At this time, you also have a macro-nutrient deficiency but you're zoning in on micro-nutrients. It would be like looking at a stray dog with ribs slightly showing and being concerned about a possible calcium deficiency when the dog just needs more food which will also have that nutrient in it.

If you up your nitrogen via your base nutrients parts A&B, it will also get more micro-nutrients. Have you changed out your res yet?

It does not show zero calcium, it shows no test result for calcium.
Strange, it doesn't even have results for common contaminates like lead and nitrates.

The stuff in your res looks like sewage. I'd increase EC and switch to some known, quality nutes. BTW, coco is normaly drain to waste, not recirculated.

I have a zero water filter and it adds stuff to my water so it raises the ppm. In coco feed every single time never use straight water. Just make sure you get plenty of runoff and you won’t get salt buildup. With a multi feeding system you shouldn’t have to worry about buildup if you get runoff everytime. Also don’t check ph of runoff it’s useless only worry about the input PH. You want the runoff to never get higher than 300ppm higher than what your putting in and if it does your getting buildup so water to more runoff.

RO systems are nice but they make a ton of waste water. Most systems do anyway.
I agree most feed charts are way too much so I start at 1/3-1/2 dose of what they call for but some plants are heavy eaters so you will learn to read the plant and give it what it needs.
Well my tap water is .4 ec( 200 ppm on 500 scale) and when I run it through a zerowater filter it comes out as 0.0ppm/ec that is the whole concept of "Zero" water, Have you tried replacing the filter and get the same results? As for feed/water/water...not sure where I read that but it must of been for soil, I was wrong coco you feed every time and ph out does not matter. Testing your runoff EC/PPM to make sure its still in range can help determine if your over feeding.

It’s really hard to say if it will help or not because don’t know what’s in the m

i tried on that attaches to my faucet and it was raising my ppm so I just stopped using it. I found that the EC meter that give out with their filters seemed to say 0 but my Hanna and blue labs would read much higher than the zero meter so I will do some more testing with it because yes it should be zero ppm after going through the filter. I have 2 zero water filtering jugs I use for my dogs water so I will see what they do compared to the faucet attached one.

Yeah if anyone knew what his 1 EC was with no info on the nutrients who knows what it is. He need a reliable balanced nutrient and feed at the right EC and I’m sure he wouldn’t be having issues

Hey bro. First time coco or hydro nutes.

The guy who wrote the guide was telling me too do what I've done its just a bad guide.

They have grown so much, in 2 weeks.

Even guy at grow shop today said straight away after he heard 1ec that and that 0.3 is from nutes rest is just tap water.

He said knock it up too 1.7 or so but it's normal too use 2EC. That's what they all do.

But this guy had a pretty convincing article on basically what I've done and why.

I'm not angry though. I'd rather start not enough, then too much, you learn, and get opinions off a few people, and then tweak, only 1 plant has signs of it the rest is so mild.

I'd say because it's the only plant I defoliated for fun. Defiently won't defoliate again because the plants just smaller then it have over taken it now since I removed its leave and then they are bigger now.

I think like flower time when they are closer too their finished size but this strain barely grows any leaf at all I manicured 12 ounces last time I grew it in like 1 hour. Easiest ever

Transplanted from tiny cups 7 days ago cheap soil, fed only water and neglected. No visable Roots when i transplanted.

Now in their next size up. Went from soil too 100% premium cyco coco.

Feeding hydroponic nutrients, 5.8 - 6.2 ph. 3 waters so far. Now feeding 5.8 ph.

EC and ppm of tap water is 0.7ec and 350ppm.

I double the 350ppm = 700, divide by 1000, brings it too 0.7 EC.

Nutrient calculator tells me targrt EC of 2.

I watered
1.2 ec with 6.2 ph
1.2 ec with 6.0 ph
And now im cutting back too 5.8ph and (1EC or 480ppm)

They went from stunted little runts, too thriving, in 7 days where i topped it the new nodes are 1 inch long with more nodes coming off that. The whole pot is full of healthy strong roots, when i couldnt even see roots when i transplanted from.their tiny pots just crumbly black dirt.

First time with coco and im blown away by crazy growth.

Strain is kalishkanov by ghs.

I see a couple spots and slight discolouration on leaves. Wondering if anyone had a clue ?

I’m using tap my tap ppm is 100ppm plus I’m using Athena Pro. I’m actually contemplating on bumping up the cal/mag. I give 21ml to 4 gal, plus core & grow.

I’ll take more pics later, the fucker’s a monster now! I have my net on now! They’re very healthy, I got scared and didn’t feed them because I did 3 feeds back to back, I should have fed again I tested my soils ppm it was 400ppm the top 4in of soil. I did foliar feed though. My big one looked a little hungry! Here’s a video but it’s not a good one because the lights are on, and as we all know you really can’t see shit with the lights on. Area is 8x7. I’m still in veg just switched the MH bulb out to Hps. I want to flower in a week or so a few days after next feeding.

I run RO and never had to run more than 5ml/gal. Dude is running tap.

BTW, OP, how dem bitches lookin?
I was told that our beloved’s love cal/mag, my experience shows it’s true. They almost can’t get enough I noticed my stems turning purple which is why I’m thinking of upping my dosage, Athena nutes are very kind to plants my EC is high ass snoop dogg

Yeah, it's like the fat kid in middle school. Definitely getting enough nutrients but is slow, sluggish, and underproduces.

BTW, how often do you get bugs? Fucking cigarette butt on the floor? Come on, dude.
