judicial legislative and executive

fuck them they dont work together at all

what I want is for local governments to have more power than the Federal government

i want our bill of rights to not be shit on

i want our founding fathers not to be rolling in their graves because of the cluster fuck that has become of their beautiful dream that was the constitution

i want there to be more than two people that we get to vote for when we cast our votes for presidency

i want our government to stop worrying about being the "world police" and start looking out for our own asses cuz too much shits going on right now in the world for us to be distracted with petty "wars on terror"

i want the government to be more open to the public and less secretive and shady about everything

i want the government to man up and admit when its made a mistake instead of blaming it on this and that or trying to spin it off as if they didnt fuck up at all

i want alot of things that will never happen but im sure as hell glad im alive now and not a couple generations down the line when they will have to pay for all of our... scratch that, THEIR stupid mistakes

F.Y.I. The Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor has any reserves- it's a private, for profit company that our government owns some stock in, that happens to have a monopoly on producing our money supply..

I've got no beef with some socialism. What, you want the 'market' to assume control of everything? How about our space program? Our federal highway system? Every road you drive on, you want to pay 29 tolls to get to the grocery store, and 29 more to get home? Do we want the cheapest military money can buy? Education only for those who have money? So, no more 'land of opportunity', no more 'all men are created equal'?

Socialism is for things where the entire populace benefits. Don't we all benefit from having all children guaranteed access to education, regardless of how much money their parents make (assuming they have any)? Without any socialism, we'd be watching China land on the moon, having never done it ourselves. We'd be watching our troops getting reamed in combat, because we let the market provide us the cheapest troops we could afford. Poor children would remain poor, because they'd never be able to afford an education.

Capitalism is doing wonderful for us at the pump too. I mean, ya can't complain much about gas prices if you're against any form of socialism, because reaming the consumers at the pump as hard, as often, and as long as is possible is the most capitalistic thing in the world for an oil company to do.

Rah rah, capitalism! Heck, make it $10/gallon, that's even *more* capitalistic, that'd rock!

I do not really beleive that anyone is going to change anyone else's mind.
We are all pretty opinionated here. Mostly these posts only show there are different mindsets.

I disagree with 85% of what Obama says he will do as President.
Compared to 35% of what McCain says.
(I have never agreed with 100% of what anyone says).
