My First Bubbleponic grow

okay i understand now...so do u have an idea of how to do it properly?

Not really but there is a lot of info on YouTube. Just type scrog and then it's off to the races.

hey by the way can roots tangle in the res? or do i need 2 b cutting them back so that they dont tangle

It's fine if the roots grow together in the res. Mine are tangled up pretty good at this point. I was also thinking about doing the scrog method either this round or next. Is 2" chicken wire the best thing to use?

Amen to that! That's one of the problems with doing a ScrOG in Bubbleponics...the suckers grow so fast you can't keep up with them!

I personally believe you almost have to do some form of training to maximize the light in low light-intensity situations (i.e. CFL's or 250 - 400 watt HID).

ScrOG is probably the most time-consuming method but gives the best results if done properly, IMO. I love supercropping and use it even when I ScrOG. LST is my least favorite method, I usually end up with string and fishing weights all over the place and manage to snap quite a few branches along the way.

Amen to that! again I've tried them all and now know my limitations. I spend so much time in my grow room I probably over supercrop. I've added a little leaf tucking to my repitoire! I'm what you call a hands on gardener! LOL! My wife calls it tactile without the tact! Married 36 years today. I think she has a high pain threshold!

I use it to manage my canopy and even things up so the light hits as many bud sites as possible. It also comes in handy for height control also.

Breaks the outside support of the plant so it falls over. You hold the stem like you would hold a pencil and give it a good hard squeeze. With a little practice you can tell when you've crushed the stem hard enough to bend it over. While learning you just squeeze it hard and try to bend it. If it doesn't bend you squeeze it a little harder and try again. You're not going to break it off. At the bend it gets extra thick after you crush it and sends repair nutes to the whole plant and you generally get a growth spurt. The branch you bent will try to raise itself up to get to the light and at least the tip will rise and you have expose the whole stem to the light and you'll get shoots headed for the light along the whole length. Actually works kind of like scrog without the screen.

Okay here u go guys...its almost the end of week 5...prob gonna start flowering here in like a week or 2. waiting for the 2 runts on the right to hit the water and then well b off by the way they normally arent drooping at all...but the lights were off right b4 i took these pics...when the lights r on the perk up all the way.

Keep in mind that they double or triple in size after you turn them to 12/12.
