My First Bubbleponic grow

Big ones look ready anytime.

Yeah big ones are definitely ready to flower. If you decide to wait, make sure you have enough room for vertical growth or some plan to control it. They look great!

ya we just did a D and R and now they that are drinking so much we decided to do it twice a week...instead of just replacing a gallon a day and adding back 1/6 of the nutes...i have tomm off from work so ima head down to the growing weed store(litterally lol) and pick up tiger bloom...and then on thurs were gonna do another D and R and then start flowering and use the flowering nutes. we were gonna start today but since we dont have tiger bloom yet i dont wanna start 12/12 with the veg nutes. so ya starting 12/12 on thurs.

The change in the LIGHT cycle is what forces Flowering, not the change in nutes. I am seeing many growers say they switch to 12/12 and stay on VEG nutes for 2, 3 or 4 to5 more days, then D and R and then add Flwoering nutes, or they chagne to 12/12 and only replinish with Bloom nutes gradually. I started 12/12 and stayed on vEG nutes for three days, then replinished with Bloom nutes for 3 days, did a D and R, then went to 100% Bloom nutes. Many are doing the same thing. Ask around.

I always just changed to 12/12 when I changed nutes but this time I'll do it different. Makes sense and may help eliminate or at least reduce the leaf drop I always see when I 12/12 it.

ya i know its not the nutes that change it to flowering...this is my second grow remember...the only reason i said that was cus i wantd to make sure i dont burn them because of to much nitrogen while flowering thats what happened to my last grow and i had constant nute burn till the end granted it was a soil grow and not hydroponics...but i think ima do what u said and go ahead and switch 2 12/12 tonight and then on thurs switch to bloom nutes. so when u said u did ur first dnr after u kept ur veg nutes for a couple days did u do like half strength bloom nutes or did u jus do half bloom and half veg nutes till the second dnr when u did full bloom nutes?

I think Roseman switched to full bloom and no veg after 2 days but what I did was added half strength bloom the day I switched to 12/12 and kept full strength veg. After a couple days I did full bloom and half veg. Then a couple days after that I went to full bloom no veg. Idk what is the best method but this seems to have worked for me very well.

sounds like a plan...im rollin with the veg nutes till thursday doing a DNR and then do half and half and then next DNR ill go full bloom thx for the info but roseman if check this id like to know what u meant exactly

I think he meant he switched the light to 12/12 for 3-5 days before he did a res change and when he did that res change he went to flower nutes.

so my roommate is a stubborn. he thinks that if light leaks from his bedroom it doesnt matter its in his closet and we have the doors closed at night when they r off...but say his light in his room at the top of his room is on...will light seep thru the cracks and fuck up the 12/12?

It's very possible. Is there any way you can get a view from inside the closet during lights off? Like a webcam or something? Otherwise, just through a blanket over the front or something.

not sure...got them from a friend. didnt tell me where they came from...only that they were good seeds. and heck ya they are huge...wanted to maximize yeild as much as possible...put them into 12/12 last nite checking them constantly looking for male or female signs...should have some info on what they r soon already seeing some signs but to small 2 tell so far. and ya im take a pic tonight when the lights r off so i can see if light is leaking.

next grow ima deff order some femenized seeds cus im sick of this could be male shit lol. are feminized seeds always female or is there still a chance some could b male?

They are female 100% of the time unless you do something extreme like give them light during the dark period of flowering. Then there is a chance they will hermi but if that is rare.

sorry i havent posted lately again been busy....well we finally got the results. 3 females outa fucking 8. my luck sucks ass lol....so next grow will deff b feminized seeds from nirvana. o well pics tomm would take some now but the roommates sleeping..check back tomm

3 outta 8 ain't too bad. I guess we will get very similar yields then!

I went all fems with my last 3 grows. This time I'm planting some regular seeds of some strain I want to cross in the future. If you don't plan on breeding and the space is limited, fems are the way to go. I planted a total of 12 and I'm expecting a 50/50 mix. Guess regular seeds lead to overplanting. LOL!

If my current grow had turned out all 6 pods to be females, I can't imagine having enough room, 2 girls now are trying to push out the walls, lol.
