"But after pressed by independent media outlets such as National Public Radio, Republicans in Congress and their wealthy allies could not produce a single millionaire job creator for NPR to interview. - Do you really expect me to believe that too. Well, maybe the millionaires know better than to talk to a biased outfit like NPR."

I notice you offer none up to confirm your theory or support your hypothesis. But go ahead. I'm sure you hobnob with many.

As a business owner I know I'm right. I've been warned by my attorney and CPA what is coming round the bend. I have a tendency to believe them.

But after pressed by independent media outlets such as National Public Radio, Republicans in Congress and their wealthy allies could not produce a single millionaire job creator for NPR to interview. - Do you really expect me to believe that too. Well, maybe the millionaires know better than to talk to a biased outfit like NPR.

If you want me to believe it show me the definition and not something from NPR.
What do you expect from someone whose sole argument is "lies, lies, lies. lies lies lies lies. lies, lies lies, lies lies lies lies lies"? Someone who thinks the NPR is unbiased? Someone who is the only poster here who is an active participant at Stormfront?

No, you likely borrowed money from your dad (the bank) to start your lemonade stand. If by 'price' you mean either reduce your your own profits by 10% or the reinvestment back into the lemonade stand at 10%, then yes, though that's subjective, as employee morale, as evident by multiple scientific studies, is worth -10% to increase productivity. Keep your employees happy, your business has a better chance of growing and you could potentially have 2 or 3 lemonade stands next summer, instead of just the one. 2-3 x $100 = $200-$300 sub the standard $15 x 4-6 employees, you're now walking away with $140-$220 profit, sub $20-$30 back into the business, $120-$190 goes directly into your pocket, 4-6 times more than the previous summer, and all your employees couldn't be happier.

You open a stand on the East end of town....I'll open one on the West side of town.

You run yours off of your business plan....I'll run mine off of my plan.

Then in twenty years we'll see who has made the correct business decisions.

Hopefully, your stand is still open....I will have a chain of lemonade stands.

NPR really never comes across as very bias whenever I listen to them. Pretty straight forward programming, imho.

I just looked it up and I see accusations of bias in both directions. I see a correlation between accusations of left bias and support for Evangelical political causes. Of course, most of the stuff on Google is editorials and (partisan) blogs.

I do wonder what is meant by "small-business job creator" and if there are any metrics for following how many there are and what the trends have been. cn

"Small Business Job Creator" seems to be a phrase Frank Luntz came up with.

Take that however you want.

I saw a rerun of M*A*S*H the other day. It centered on a corrupt chopper pilot who was running a side business buying battlefield junk off Korean orphans. He was a fount of phrases that have been respun of late. The one that really caught my attention was his phrase defending the "simple honest free enterprise" of paying kids to pick through minefields. "I'm CREATING JOBS!" cn

80-90% of all businesses fail in the first decade.

You think abolishing that tax would ensure your pacer isn't foreign-made? You're not really that green, are you?
No, but quality control regulations on US made medical devices and the the threat of lawsuits do help ensure better products. If US makers can't compete with China's, then we will lose that protection.

That's because you share the same biases. When they tell you what you want to believe, it's human to accept what they say as gospel.

You ever listen to NPR?

It's the one station my boss and I can listen to without yelling at the radio, and he's a Tea Partier, or whatever they're called.

Yes, I do. They're not as biased as, say NBC, but I've heard them make statements that I know to be false when it's clear they believe the statement is true. If you express a falsehood as the truth because you want it to be true, you are biased.

I still think they're about as good as it gets in the mainstream news. None of them are perfect.

Anyways, the radio waves are littered with "conservative shock jock" types anymore. Some balance is nice.

Which radio news provider do you prefer?

or is it, your so egotistical that there is no way any other opinion/assertion other than your own could be correct . . . .wow in print how high and mighty you think you are . . .

correlation is not causation . .. .them being wrong or you thinking them wrong does not mean they are biased . . its means they may have made a mistake
