Its Good To Be Back! My Second Grow.

very healthy plants! great job man. i always encounter nutrient burn and/or deficiences throughout my grows, but you got this one in the bag already!

i also run 90f and none of my plants hermie on me, except for my paradise acid plants, which is expected since i got the first batch of seeds from an isolated hermied out paradise acid plant. i grow it every season and it gives me a couple seeds each time for future grows!

its really luck of the draw with hermies. they can be super seeded and ruin your crops, or they can be like the acid gene i keep around that only puts out a seed here and there deep in the buds.

all my other beans were regular beans and they are pure sensimillia everytime.

not much to say. Mentioned the herms, the heat, the mutants and the droopyness all over the past days, so here is the pics.

The sativas, Sativa1 i think is the hermie, you can see the little yellow flowers potruding.


The indicas, Indica #1 is the star, just look at her.. not much to her but it looks like it will be killer. She also looks almost done, here is a side and top

My third grow, mommy-i 15 days from top (clone from one of the indicas, dont know which) and the lsted sativa-1 clone:


My fourth grow, JB (my own name for bagseed strain) 3 weeks of veg.

That indica #1 looks fantastic. Frosty and fat, looks like she will have a nice sweet taste. Looking great DB.

Do you plan to use any supplements in the last 2 weeks? Snowstorm ultra? molasses? botanicare sweet or AN big bud?

Hey Bro, thanks for stopping by,

I have been feeding them sweetberry, but they are looking pretty droopy at the moment so i am doing pure water only. The sativas still have a lot of white hairs on them, so they will likely be more like 3 weeks till finish if not more.

I broke down and sipped a tester bud off sativa1. I just cant help myself. Its drying on the reflector now. The tester bud of indica #2, as i mentioned, was good. The best part of it was the taste, but not having grown these strains i couldnt tell ya if it was the sweetberry or not. One thing i did notice is that the smell was much better after 2 treatments of sweet. It was a real CLEAN smoke. You guys that only buy kind or grow your own probably dont even know what im talking about anymore but, clean is the best way for me to describe it. Its been the same with every home grown ive smoked, my first grow included.

Hmmmm, now thats interesting I just thought it was all the other stress. These guys have only gotten Tigerbloom i think? Maybe the compost was to N to add even the 2%n thats in that?

probably, tiger bloom is a really strong all in one. just tap or rain water for a bit?

just search nitrogen claw in google images and youll see what i mean.

So i just smoked up that tester nug of sativa one. What a difference, the indica plant (which is closer to finishing) was great. Sativa1 had no high whatsoever. Clean, tasty smoke, but NO high. It seems like it has hardly any resin on it either. I only hope its because its going to take an extra couple of weeks to finish then the indicas? We shall see.

i took a 7 and 8 week sample from my first acid/diesel, and i wasnt impressed. they get stronger the older they are.

im glad you enjoyed the smoke it only gets better

may i suggest a good flush a week before harvest?

Some nice big looking buds you've got going on there. Read every single page of your grows and will keep on reading them, interested to see how much you get out of the plants.

Thanks man! Me too, I am hoping its at least 2 zips, but the way it shrinks down whn dry I'm guessing more like 1.5

You sound like a guy that used to be on this forum..You two have the same mentality on growing and used the word beans for seeds..hmmmm...Pretty sure i know who you are b. real...

So i am fairly sure the whole cola on Sativa #1 turned to seed!!!!! ugh! Some seeds on sativa 2 as well. Its messed up, sativa 3, the lankiest mosted stressed one didnt hermie!

Saw my first amber trich ever today. Caught just one under the 100x from Indica #1. Otherwise it still looks half cloudy half clear? I dont know, i cant tell shit from the trichs its so fustrating. There really no other way to tell if "done"?

the trichs are annoying, let me tell you! usually my plants go to 100% amber pistils before being harvested. to see what i mean go to my blackout kush journal in my sig. i like to leave my plants at least 70 days from pistil sighting for most potency and most weight. you can see the mids and lowers turn into beautiful strong tops here: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/671554-jamaica-seeds-blackout-kush.html

100% amber! no thanks! everything i have read says amber is the sign of thc oxidizing into cbn, which is a depressant. And even after you harvest, those milky whites will go amber in cure. I like spacey, happy, racy or silly weed.

you should really go have a look at my blackout kush journal. theres only 20 posts in it, its a short read and youll see how the pistils start to turn in a matter of days-one week when they are in the process of ripening.

a tomato does the same thing. one will start to turn red, and itll happen in a matter of days. then the nearby tomatoes will start to turn because of a gas the ripening ones release. this is where the saying "one bad apple spoils the bunch" comes from.

i start noticing cloudy trichs around week 6 from pistil, and they get the best at week 9-12 from pistil. i usually harvest right in the middle of those two numbers, 10-11 weeks.

my blackout kush tops came down at 10 weeks from pistil, and the mids and lowers will come down this friday, 11 weeks from pistil.

AH! AMBER PISTOLS! LOL...

I thought you were saying 100% amber trichs! Yeah, most of the pistols on 2 of my sativa's are 100% but i think that is because they got pollenated. They are still developing trichs, so im leaving em. Also letting those seeds mature as i might as well get something outta the work.

PS. i have read your journals. And and few hundred more before them. Im kinda a geek that way.

definitely becuase of the seeds. the plant has completed its main goal, so itll end its life quicker to spread the seed as soon as most of then are mature enough to grow properly.

keep a close eye on them after week 9. start flushing 2 weeks prior to harvest (if you like to flush).
