War is good, War is great! As long as our declining empire spends its gold on "necessary interventions" instead of bridges, textbooks, and rational governance we will move closer and closer to legalization of MJ.as a necessary revenue source.Put up your dukes Iran.

I got a Muslim family next door. They constantly burn piles of flags when I'm downwind to smoke me out and fire AK-47's at my house. No really their good neighbors from Lebanon. We get along fine, they do not appear in any way to be fanatics. The fanatics are dangerous to me, be they Muslim or Christian or anything else. Fanatacism in itself is dangerous. It crosses many lines, political views as well as religeous and many others. Christian fanatics are in more abundance here and it makes me uncomfortable at the least. A fanatic can justify anything.

Yeah the fear mongering has to stop. Sure the Quran has a few hateful verses, just like the bible. It is just scary that some people in America sound like Nazis referring to Jews when they talk about Muslims. Most Americans are blind to US foreign policy.

Before going overseas I thought we were this great benevolent nation that helped everyone in the world. After being out of the US for a short time I thought what I was seeing was a fluke, can't all be like this. After being gone over 1 year I couldn't believe we do the things I saw being done and I couldn't stand it. I realized we weren't the good guys I thought we were and wanted no part of it. I should have joined the peace corps maybe.

Funny how it starts from a desire to do good huh?

Bring back the draft and see how quickly we hate war. The only citizens in our current war are on their 4th tour or so because the owners know in this country out of sight out of mind with most.

go back to bed America, your government has figured it all out

That's all it ever was for me, I never wanted to kill anyone. I wanted to fly, do search and rescue- save lives. It ended up trying not to go to the brig for doing the good or just not doing the bad stuff. I'm sure you know how evil people try and take hold of anything they can inside someone and manipulate it for their own wicked purposes.

From pacifist to terrorist, each person condemns violence - and then adds one cherished case in which it may be justified.

The problem is that compassion is not valued as a leadership quality. They have honor, integrity, courage and a bunch of other empty words, but nothing about love, kindness, compassion, empathy or anything similar, not even an inkling. At first that seems like the way you would want troops to be, to make sure they have what it takes to make it home, but think about it for a while.

What kind of world are we trying to shape?

Where's buck? Kind of weird how every time moses speaks buck and abandon verbally assault him to no end. Now that the view point is the same, buck disappears and abandon is buddies with him. Can we say hypocrite?!

It starts with the evil puppet masters who sell it to those, usually just out of HS with not a damn clue how the world is run but wanting to do good and who are not in the position to come back and yell BULLSHIT because they built in the perfect excuse; the war made them crazy. Then they get tossed to the streets more often than not where the rest of the population turns their backs so as not to discusss why the majority of the homeless population consists of former troops they say they support. That kid who gunned down all those civilians I believe was on his 4th tour AFTER a PTSD diagnosis and a no combat order.

WTF? Take all the money we spend on Defense each year and spend it feeding, clothing, housing and educating every single person on earth, not one person left behind, which it could do many times over, and we won't need a freakin Defense Budget! Or the Libertarian Technology idea but stop justifying premeditated murder against folks who only had rocks as weapons till Bush Sr generously shared with them. I can't name one justified war. WWII is the immediate go to and much respect to the WWII Vets, they are as always the innocent pawns, but AMERICANS started it! Only a few but they still started it. I firmly believe Slavery would have ended with the same peaceful resistance it took to really get all citizens full citizenship with MLK Jr so don't throw that one either. Anyone? Name one good war?
