I thought you were against people voting. I still don't understand your issue with that.
All of the so-called Progressive left's leaders elected to office in Congress ran as Democrats. They caucus with Democrats. Sanders is running to win the nomination of the Democratic Party. Seems pretty clear that your Progressive left or whatever you like to call it is an important wing of the Democratic Party. I'm glad they are there too. I too think that there is strength through diversity.
I have issues about Biden and am probably not going to choose him. Still, to say he opposes universal access to healthcare seems untrue to me.. Here is Biden's policy statement on Universal access to healthcare:
2020 CANDIDATE JOE BIDEN BACKS MEDICARE PUBLIC OPTION: ‘YOU ALL SHOULD HAVE A CHOICE’
https://www.newsweek.com/2020-candi...all-policy-you-all-should-have-choice-1409332
During his first major address as a 2020 presidential candidate in Pittsburgh on Monday, Biden threw his support behind letting Americans decide whether they wanted to opt in to the program. “Whether you're covered through your employer or on your own or not, you all should have a choice to be able to buy into a public option plan for Medicare… Your choice,” Biden said. “If the insurance company isn't doing the right thing by you, you should have another choice.”
Biden isn't hewing to Sanders' plan but isn't it false to say he opposes universal access to healthcare despite that statement? Actually Sanders doesn't have a plan but I won't quibble with you about his unfinished bill which doesn't say how it will be paid for or how much it will cost. I'm just wondering why you say Biden opposes universal access to healthcare when he says he does.
