Are there any smart Trump supporters?

I do not support anyone who says they'll put their religious convictions front and center when making policy decisions.
Separation of church and state like I said no candidate is "good" so you kinda just have to pick the lesser evil

Trumps hanging by a thread bro. Winds can change on a dime. And I think they will. People are slow to catch on. Sanders or Cruz? Hmm at some point I honestly have to study the issues. It's all good. Still way early.

The biggest problem people have with Sanders is his socialistic views but at least he is open about them what people fail to see is America is already a socialist country hidden behind the curtains the puppet master pulls the strings are laws are made by the people with the most money not by or for the majority of the country money=power he who has the power runs the show

Yep. The 1%ers want to isolate themselves from the common and for good reason. Simply read the news. Peoples are killing each other for no good reason. All around the world. Watch your social media with an objective view. Socialism? Well hell yeah. What you want people breaking down your door stealing what you got? They will do that. Give them a method to feed their welfare existence. Keep them/us happy and out of the way for us gluttons to revel in our own gluttonous prosperity. Never mind them. "I" am special. I deserve more. It should all belong to me and I give it away for the adulation. Of the people who are now beneath me. It's an ignorant, arrogant, whiny, selfish and entitled Murica son. We have the technology. We have more than we need even when we are poor. Like me. Poor pitiful me. Yet.

It's a never ending debate of wrong and right. If you ever delve into becoming an introvert, you might just realize that all this debate. All this reason. Analyzed to the umpteenth degree. You wind up with little. Right or wrong.

We all occupy space in our time. We will all meet the same fate someday. Be like the Harry Potter series author and write fantasy. To take us away from this real. It's not very pretty. And unfortunately. There are no answers. The reason we have this debate over and over and over again. Peace and love in your heart bro. Be at peace with your fate. Yourself. You got it.

I don't believe you

You say you support Trump because he's not like all the other politicians, but neither is Sanders, but you didn't support him. So it must be something else that Trump has that Sanders doesn't..

So what is it?

You're not worried about specifics because we've had presidents who were specific and look where we are now...

Brilliant

Trump is not "an outsider", you fool. He told you he is and you believed him. Meanwhile, he's been bribing politicians since he was in his 20s. If you think he's "an outsider", you're an idiot. He's "an outsider" in the same way George Soros is "an outsider"
brilliant post:clap:

Hillary won't let Bernie win.
I'm not knocking Bernie. But I'll say it again, Hillary won't let Bernie win. So its Trump v Clinton and Trump wins. So get ready to say President Trump

I'm sure President Trump will do just fine.
He's not Hitler.
He's not racist.

The man has been in business, real business, for decades in New York City. If there were issues of racism we would have heard it by now. We're talking NYC. Go try to be a racist in NYC and see how long you last. You won't go far. You might be popular in your small group of skinheads in mama's basement but you won't build towers in NYC.

It's actually because of the Bernie protesters that I've learned more about Donald. It's because of my own inquiry, not others, that I've learned some things about our next President.

In fact... when you look, honestly look... you'll see that Donald Trump is a very generous man. People with money can often times do great things with their money. Many times it's done quietly without bragging. Heck I even saw a video of Trump giving money to a girl with bone disease on the Maury Show dating back to 2000. He was just regular old Donald back in 2000. They gave the girl a lot of money but did not disclose the actual dollar amount out loud. It was a nice gesture, enough to make them cry, yet there was no bragging by Trump, no chest thumping about HOW MUCH he gave. We all know it was a lot of money. Keep digging around about how generous he is and you'll find tons of examples. Trump used to go into kitchens of restaurants and give everyone a hundred dollar bill and leave quietly. He paid off the mortgage of a couple that stopped to help his broken down limo. That's not Hitler. That's a New York tycoon level 100, like a boss, absolutely like a boss. He's the Hugh Heffner of sky scrapers and business. You gonna tell me every "bunny" was perfect? No... some of them had to go, but Hugh got through it. Donald is the same type of tycoon, different set of actors. Instead of bunnies he had ventures.

Now as far as the OP's request of what our Tycoon Preezy is going to do (or wants to do)... there are many ways to find that information out, let's say try looking at a candidates website?
You could go to Trump's page and see what he wants to do and then put up some of those items and discuss them individually.

Trump wants to build a wall - a wall to keep people out is much different than a wall to keep people IN. We need to protect our borders and the southern border wall project is no different than the Great Wall in China. It kept invaders out, not citizens in. How does a wall affect LEGAL immigration? Last I heard legal immigrants would be allowed through the wall.

Trump wants to put a 35% tax on items made in China - this levels the playing field for America as jobs in China are brought back to America.

Trump's tax reform is pretty attractive, too.

yes he is.

we have. he had to settle a lawsuit for racial discrimination against black people. did you forget about this?

How does a wall affect LEGAL immigration?
how does it affect illegal immigration though? half of all illegal immigrants came here legally.

Trump wants to put a 35% tax on items made in China - this levels the playing field for America as jobs in China are brought back to America.
no. just stupid.

that is simply a 35% tax on walmart. take the average wage in china, multiply it by 135%, and it will still be well under the minimum wage here in the united states.

thus it will not bring back any jobs, and it will simply be a tax on poor american walmart shoppers.

Trump's tax reform is pretty attractive, too.
the more intelligent trump supporters like you remind me of the admiring newt gingrich supporters of 2012.

trump, like gingrich, is a stupid man's idea of what a smart man looks like.

the more actual conversation we have about assclowns like trump only reinforces what an idiotic assclown he is. and baffles me as to why a person like you would lift one finger to try to sell such a load of crap.

How much will Trump's wall cost?

Who is going to pay for it?

I was just thinking about this.. I haven't seen a single Trump supporter who can tell you what Donald Trump supports. They can recite his vague, ambiguous platitudes (He gonna make 'Murica great agin!), but they can't tell you specifics - how much something will cost, what percentage of the American people might support it, if anything has a chance of becoming actual policy, etc.

So does this person exist? Someone who can have a rational conversation about Trump's policies and why they support them without reverting into a neandertaal? Point them to this thread
You call anyone who disagrees with you a neanderthal instead of refuting their statements. So.....no such person exist. There are many, tho, who can actually spell "neanderthal", which you couldn't.

That's a good question. There could be a prize awarded for a design. I'm sure it would be a boost to some jobs and technology for things like cameras, etc. The CCC in the 1930's consisted of many large, but short-term projects.

OK, so who is going to pay for it and how much is it going to cost?

Where is Trump's outline for the specifics?

OK so you've never worked on a team before? Sometimes you come up with an idea and work with a team of people to make it happen. Maybe a prize can be awarded for an independent idea. Maybe someone out there has a better idea than the rest of us. Rather than The Donald dictate how the wall should be built, he'd consider other ideas from people who know more about walls.

Sanders is like Stalin, Pol Pot. Mao, and Hitler. So like other politicians. The worst ones.

How about we fine the 1%'s business owners who dangle $$$ at the immigrants to lure them across the border. We wouldn't need a wall, they would all go home from lack of work. Then a wall is unnecessary & would only slow them down from leaving....win-win

Do you think building a wall along the southern border is a better investment than universal college or rebuilding American infrastructure?
I'm not Trump so I can't answer for him.

My personal view is that the wall is a bit ambitious but like I said.... if it were put out to the open market for designs it create a design race of sorts and would be interesting to see how it pans out.

Universal College is a joke. Grow up. College is only supposed to last a few years of your life. You should not have to pay for college your entire life, but that what taxing us all for it does. I'm not paying for your school. I know people with masters' degrees that can't motivate themselves to get work. Many of you don't need college. It's a waste of time to talk about it.

Rebuilding American Infrastructure is a tired cliche'. Colorado is booming because of the pot taxes. Legalize it and there's your answer to increasing your local general fund.
