talking about shit, i am torn on using chicken manure in my soil mix. has anyone used it for cannabis? yea or nay? good or bad?

Never have on Cannabis, my friend has a great organic garden and uses "chicken poop", swears by it.....all i know is her veggies are great and ive never had any problems eating them over the years. Personally I dont use it, been using a local seafood compost thats works great for me.
To answer your question. I let my cow shit cook for at least a year in a pile under the hot sun turning it once in a while before tilling it into the soil. If your using fresh manure you are one sick puppy. Chicken shit contains a lot of urea and its pretty hot. once it turns black its ok to use though. I put one small shovel scoop of old chicken poop per tomato plant, works great.
