Not sure. Im guessing its the 420nm. Just from what I saw in my par t5 recently. when I first got cfl's for my mom plants. They took off like crazy using all blue bulbs. Those cfl's are around 470nm. Plus the apache led's only have 460 blue diodes. Nasa contributed to the building and design of those panels. So I think scientists at nasa have a better idea of this than I do. There are some studies in oxford journals about melatonin in plants. But you have to have a subscription to oxford experimental botany to read the whole thing. But you can still read the abstract for each study.
Now I expect a much better yield with out the coral waves now. I was all about those bulbs too. For the IR though.
