    Oh it’s clay below. Builders clay. I wheelbarrowed in a couple yards of soil originally, and amend it every year. But that damn ash was sucking everything up from below.

    I miss my garden this year. All I have are a couple of pots. Had ash tree roots overtake the beds and I had to rip them out. Removed the tree but it's late in the season so I'm gonna replace the beds in the Spring. Thinking of building a deck in the space with recessed beds built in.

    I gotta tell you it's tough growing tomatoes in a tent. Not so hard indoors per se. But a tent .... you'll want a determinate variety and lots of airflow.
